Today I am going to write about my favorite series Wings of Fire! If you don't know what this series is about I'll tell you. It is about a 5 dragons who are destined to save the world. There are 7 types of dragons. Each with their own abilities and qualities. 1. Mudwing.2. Sandwing . 3.Seawing4. .Rainwing. 5. Icewing.6.Nightwing .7. Skywing. Anyway as the story goes each dragon find either their mother and father or something special about them that they didn't know. Their is war in the story that the 5 dragons have to end and bring peace to the world. The reason the war started is all about scavengers stealing the eye of Onyx. In each tribe of dragons their is a queen. Each queen rules its tribe and is the most powerful.
When the queen of the Sandwings was sleeping she had a feeling that something had happened to her treasure when she began to look she found out that all the treasure went missing. When she looked outside she saw scavengers (humans) with big large bags. She thought that she could kill all the scavengers no problem without any help but she ended up being killed. In the end the 3 daughters of the queen wanted to take the throne and it caused war and disorder.
That is why the 5 dragonets were supposed to pick a new queen and didn't know who. One of the daughters managed to kill another road then there were 2. The other one left living didn't know how to fight and ended up almost killed until the 5 dragons killed the daughter. Now there was only one left and the 5 dragons knew she wasn't fit to be queen so instead they picked one of the 5 dragonet's mother to be queen and lead the Sandwings That was the end of it, or so they thought.
As the story goes today the 5 dragonets become older in adult stage and make a school where they will teach other dragons what they have learned. In this stage of the story the new main characters are Moon, Kinkajou, Turtle, Darkstalker, Winter and Qiblic. Moon is the real main character and she has a special ability since she is a Nightwing. If you are born under 1,2 or 3 moons you grant special powers. A prophecy and mind reading. Kinkajou is a Rainwing, Qiblic is a Sandwing,Darkstalker is an ancient Nightwing, Winter is an Icewing, and Turtle is a Seawing.
Moon in this has mind reading powers and can hear anyone's mind. It can hurt her head from time to time and she still hasn't gotten used to it. Since the 5 dragons made the school called Jade Academy Moon has mad many friend but now also knows some enemies. She never wanted to go to the school in the first place. His sister and mother tell him to never share his power to anyone, but he disobeys them and tells al his friends because he needs them to trust him.
I would give this series a 9 out of 10 start rating only because I don't like how the plot twists so easily. I hope you like this and try to read this series. Enjoy!
