May 21st 2017 diary

For today's post I just want to talk about what I've been doing lately. Yesterday after I finished my blog post my mom told me that she and my dad had to go somewhere to pick up a free heater one of her friends gave her. I don't know why we need a heater, especially in the burning heat of summer  It seems a bit stupid. For lunch I had pasta that my dad heated up from the day before. Suddenly my sister brought in a fidget spinner that my aunt bought for me, while everyone was cleaning up the table. Fortunately my dad didn't get mad so it was okay. While I was cleaning the dishes my dad told my sister that she had to come with them. He said that I should stay at the house alone.

Before the three of them left I asked my mom how long it would take to get the heater and come back, she told me about 30 minutes. Then I added another half an hour because I knew with my mom sometimes things could go really late. After they got in the car and left I went to the living room and turned on my Playstation Four so that I could use it. Once I got on it I took out my charged controller and plugged my headset into it so I wouldn't make loud noise all around me (don't want the neighbors to complain). The first thing I did once I logged into my account is get on Overwatch (PC and Xbox One/PS4 game). Then I started "Competitive".

Competitive is a mode in Overwatch that is to be taken very seriously, or at least I do. If you live the "Competitive" game you will get suspended, have a penalty, or banned for the entire season (that only happens if you leave too many times). Remember when I talked about skill rating yesterday? Well, that is related to "Competitive". If you lose the game you drop in SR (Skill Rating). If you win you get SR. It sounds pretty easy, but is actually really difficult to fully comprehend. The creators of "Overwatch" have created a very complex math equation that shows wether or not you lose or win more SR every time.

Anyway now I want to talk about the book I continued reading today, "TombQuest, The Final Kingdom". Today I read another 5 chapters and I want write about what the chapters were talking about. You should already know that this book is kind of solely on Egypt because of yesterday so I just wanted to give you a heads up. Okay here it goes! Luke, Alex, and Ren have entered the afterlife and now need to grab the Lost Spells and get out of the place. While they are thinking about ways to do that a large black scorpion comes right behind Ren. "Ren, look out!" Alex screams, as the large scorpion is ready to jab Ray with its stinger.

Ren quickly dodges and starts running along with Luke and Alex. "Wait a minute if there is a scorpion does that mean that the Stung Man (evil Death Walker Alex banished to the afterlife) is near?" asked Alex. Ren replied, "Hopefully not, or else we are in big trouble. Maybe its just a regular scorpion (the Stung Man always has scorpions near him)?". Before Ren could say anything else the Stung Man came out of nowhere and started chasing them.  We have to run before he captures us. While they do that Alex, Ren, and Luke find the building that holds the Lost spells and were able to retrieve them. Unfortunately while they walk back to the portal that had taken them to the afterlife a large amount of Death Walkers chase them, will they survive and escape?
