Today was a half day for my school so I was really excited. I just came back from the school because my dad wanted to talk to my sister and I's teachers about our grades and behaviors. I was happy to find out that my behavior and relationship with the teacher was friendly. Anyway I am going to start from the very beginning. Once I woke up I waited a few minutes before getting up to turn off the alarm because it was preventing me from going back to bed. Unfortunately, once I turned off the alarm my dad came into the room and told me to get ready for school. This really got me mad but I didn't say anything because there is really nothing I could've done to go back to bed.
Skipping all of the getting ready for school stuff, I walked out the back door at 8:00 A.M to get to my bus stop. Then I waited 15 minutes in the cold wind until my bus came. At school, I had just realized that it was a half day and was really happy. There were only a few kids in the classroom because my bus arrived at school earlier than usual. After eating breakfast I got ready for first period and listened to the announcements that my teacher said. He said that we were going to be practicing our cheer during Community Circle (period) since we wouldn't have it today. I was kind of disappointed at first because Community Circle was that one period where you just listened to what the teachers had to say, however I knew that my class didn't have our cheer ready so it was better not to embarrassed in front of the whole middle school.
For first period my class had Social Studies and this class is generally always fun so I had no issues with it. After that we had "Community Circle". My teacher gave each student a packet called "Student Reflection Sheet". I completed it as fast as I could without making it dirty because I wanted to go to recess. You see, if the whole class wasn't done with it then we couldn't go to lunch. Fortunately we finished it just in time to have 20 minutes of recess. During recess I was play fighting with a kid using Kung Fu. We were just joking but a bunch of Asian kids suddenly came out of nowhere and were trying to teach my Kung Fu. I was really confused and rushed so in the end I lost the play fight against the boy. It was pretty funny though!
After Lunch and Recess I went back to my homeroom with my class and we skimmed through Health and ELA. I was exceptionally happy when I got a 100 on my quiz because I knew I could show the quiz to my dad and he would actually believe. Once school ended my dad picked my sister and I up and took us to the car where we did our homework. Then at 1:30 P.M all three of us went back to the school and had a parent teacher conference with the teacher. My report was pretty goo, however my sister's report had a bit more things to work on then things she's good at. By the time the teacher conference's were over my dad and sister and I went back home were I started typing this.
On the news today it talked about a lot of things. Apparently Donald Trump has flown all the way to Japan, South Korea, and China. On the Science section it talks about how there is a star in the solar system that just keeps on exploding and surviving as well. Other news such as how Science now has the ability to create some type of fake skin and that saved a boy's life. Besides that a company is creating some new mosquitos that fight off the mosquitos with Zika. That seems really helpful and may relieve a lot of people living in areas were Zika is very common. That is all for now.
