Mahatma Ghandi was born in Porbender October 2 1968. Ghandi and his family were Hindu so that meant that they were strict vegetarians but at least the Muslim could eat beef. India was part of the British empire in the late 1800s or at that time. Ghandi’s father was a Diwan and so was his father and Ghandi’s brother. What it meant was that they were prime ministers of princes. Hindu people could either be warriors,merchants,priests,or worker.The rest were either garbage collectors or cleaners but that was called untouchables.The British officers caused something called Mutiny in 1857.Mahatma Ghandi was born in a privileged household.His mother was called Putliba.From his dearest mother he learned all about keeping his vows.Ghandi’s friend Sheik in high school said that Ghandi should try meat.That was the reason why Mahatma Ghandi was so skinny but Mahatma Ghandi refused to listen to him.Ghanhi was married at the age of 13 at college.The bride was named kasturba.Then Ghandi traveled to England because he wanted to learn all about how to speak English.But travel was hard because he cowldnt find food that fitted him for miles.Until finally he found a vegetarian restaurant.He was so happy.
