Who Was George Washington?

George Washington or George was born in February 22,1732. His mother believed he would be good luck until one time when one of her friends came over to meet her the friend died by a strike of lightning. George 's most favored and most cared family member that he knows is Lawrence. Lawrence was George's father's oldest son and George's brother. 

When George was 11 is father died right then and there. Since George couldn't afford school he had to be homeschooled. He is very proud of his math but sad in his spelling. It is one of his most embarrassing moments in his life.

Soon he was invited to live in his big brother's house with his wife in Mount Vernon.  When he went there his whole world changed. He was with some of the most richest Virginia families every. George soon knew that Lawrence's wife and him were one of the most wealthy people in Virginia as well. 

In the early 1750s France and England were fighting over the land in Ohio River Valley. Later when George was sent to the river he was melted with 150 men on his side in order to build their own fort

and to attack the French since George told them to leave their forts but they declined.

Soon after the war George started to stop the war things for once and live a regular life. He found a woman named Martha who he liked. Soon they married in1759. They didn't like each other because of love. It was because they had many certain qualities that matched up together.

King George III was a very nasty man. He thought that it would only be fair if the colonists had to pay taxes. So whenever you had a letter or mail you needed to put a stamp on it or else it would be a valid mail. The colonists hated the new law so they burned the stamps to the ground. That created the Stamp act. Then came the Boston Tea Party.

The battle of Yorktown was fierce and tremendous. The British were trapped by the continental army. The British was not only trapped but outnumbered too. This battle was won by no other then George Washington. This  battle decided everything that America had won its independence! Finally a treaty was signed between the British and then United States of America. As  soon as the word came Washington said farewell to his army and called them a ,patriotic band of brothers.

George went back to Virginia were he was still a very famous person in their. The government finally made what they called the three branches. The Executive branch and the Judicial branch and finally the Legislative branch.Finally George Washington was elected president in 1789. On December 14 1799 George was lying in his deathbed waiting to die. It was a sad moment and to this day forward we all still remember him as the first President.
