1st Days Of School

Today is my 4th day of school. I know its kind of late typing this, but I assure you at least I have more information. This year seems to be good for me because half of the students are new and the rest are my friends from last year so I got a new start. Today on the 4th day of school another new student arrived into our class. Her name is called Amaya. The reason I got worried was because their is another girl called "Amaya" from last year who has an attitude. Also I have 2 homeroom teachers instead of one. One of them is named Mr. Long and the other one is another woman.  Unfortunately her name cannot be remembered and don't forget all my other teachers are are going to join me this year!

One of them is called Mr. Hooper. It seems Mr. Hooper was apparently one of my substitute teachers last year. I really liked him. He was both kind and had a sense of humor. Barely any teachers have both of them combined. I'm serious. Mr. Hooper is my "Social Studies" teacher. He is starting to teach us about Ancient Civilizations after talking about the five core elements of the class.. Thats the fun thing about the start of the year. Most kids already know what to do and in "Social Studies" the first lessons are always the funnest. Last year I got to learn about the Paleo Indians and their way of life.

My next teacher is called Ms. Menard. She is one of those teachers that when gets happy is feeling really energetic. When she's angry her voice can become loud most of the time, but otherwise just enough. For some reason she loves everyone tracking her and when they do she gives invisible cookies to them. All my friends in her classroom say she has a real attitude. I think they just haven't seen her good side. Every teacher has one. Ms. Menard is my "Math teacher" yet she told all of us to work together in groups and try to make a friendly "Social Contract". That basically means rules that every one of our classmates agree on and follow.

Our last everyday teacher is called Mr. Correa. He is really friendly and calm for that matter and I mean really calm! First of all he's our ELA teacher. Second of all Mr. Correa gives us homework that is due two days later. Not one day, two! Also he has never gotten mad once, yet. I bet somewhere along the line one of my classmates will blow his bubble. Until then I would like to keep him this way. Today he told us our only homework is to bring in our favorite book. Thats easy enough. I didn't expect him to say "bring in your favorite book today" at all when the homework only took about 1 minute.

Now that I have finished all of these teachers. I have to talk about my Homeroom teachers. I know I shared one of their names so the other woman is called Ms. Amicko. I think she is a very nice teacher and this is actually her first year. Basically she just follows the class to whatever teacher they have next. My other teacher is called Mr. Long. He is our Science teacher and we have not don't any Science with him yet. For the first 4 days of school the Lunch is pretty bad, I have to admit, but otherwise everything is perfect and just the way I planned it. Thats all scholars and goodbye.
