Full Sail

Today I am reading a book called "The Girl Who Chased Away Sorrow. The Diary of Sarah Nita, a Navajo Girl. I don't know what Navajo meant when I first read the word so I googled it. It means "A member of an American Indian people of New Mexico and Arizona". The word could also mean "The Athabaskan language of the Navajo". So far the book is about a girl named Sarah Nita. It talks about her living in a Hogan (a traditional Navajo hut made out of log and Earth). She has a family of 6 and is afraid of white people at the time. You see she has heard stories about white people who are taking away her people into distant lands.

It seems that the U.S government is also trying to take away the land of the Navajo. They are forced to leave their home and go to Fort Summer. I don't know much about this story because I didn't finish it. However I have very strong feeling that this book will be finished in a few days. The image on the front page of the book shows a picture of Sarah Nita and  people traveling. This book is in a series called "Dear America". "Dear America" is basically children or people who talk about their adventures.

Now that I have finished talking about this book I would like to talk about yesterday's post. You see on the last paragraph yesterday I wrote about Full Sail University and my father heard me read the whole thing. Then before I played my Ps4 I asked him wether or not he thinks this college is good. Then I asked him out of three universities which one is better? Yale, MIT, and Full Sail. He told me that Yale was the best. Then I asked him if Full Sail was better than MIT. He replied with a no. I can understand why he said no, but the man didn't even hesitate for a brief second!

I mean you gotta give Full Sail some recognition for at least becoming a university at all. They have one of the best music programs ever and you don't hesitate! The time between me finishing the question and him answering was so short I bet I couldn't even say the number one. Now I want to give you some more info about Full Sail so you can think about submitting your application there. Full Sail was founded by John Phelps in Dayton, Ohio 1979.

It says that he has invested more than 10 million dollars on the build. The layout of Full sail is very attractive. Everywhere you go it looks like a Hollywood style setup. In June 2010 it opened its Studios Gateway Project which made a 22,000 square foot plaza. Thats one of the reasons why video game production was included as well as recording studios. Thats the reason why me and my friends want to go there. Theres lots of space for us to relax and make video games together. Then we can share our ideas and improve what we've started. Its a big dream that I wish to accomplish.
