Today, I got up from my bed at 6:00 A.M and walked downstairs with my sister to the kitchen. From there I changed my clothes and made breakfast (cereal) for my sister and I. However, she kept on complaning that her stomach was hurting and that she couldn't eat the food I knew that if my dad was there with me she wouldn't complain at all but of course I'm not him. So instead I told her that I would tell my dad, unfortunately she still wouldn't listen to me. Whenever I told her to eat it she said my dad told her that if you don't want food you don't have to eat even though I know that is wrong. Once you get food you have to eat it. The good thing was that she got in trouble with my dad when I got home.
When I got to school the first thing I saw were people trying to finish their ELA projects. You see, my class got their ELA projects due today and some people still didn't finish. Even though we got a whole week to do it. Fortunately I finished it before getting on the bus. My teacher was telling kids to put their projects on the back table even though I saw so many people trying to finish that last sentence for their essay or that last touch to their puppets. You'll know why I saw puppets later on. Anyway, For first period my class was talking to my teacher about the incident with the national anthom.
Apparently a lot of NFL players are kneeling down or not participating in the National Anthom because in the National Anthom it makes black people seem like slaves and in the present police are shooting unarmed black people for on reason. I think that if the NFL players don't want to take part in the National Anthom they shouldn't have to because no one can make their decisions for them. Donald Trump replied to this incident saying "Sons of #$=!". When I told my dad about this he replied to me saying that they are showing disrespect to the president and the country that they are living in. I kind of agree on that one point but other than that I think they should have their own right.
After Social Studies the rest of my classes weren't really that interesting except for ELA. During ELA it was really funny because for the project their was one option you could do which was make a play on the book my class was reading and boy were the plays funny. You had to make a puppet owl and then write a script for it. Then perform it in front of the whole class. The first play or skit was especially funny and the best one in my opinion. It was very cringy because one of the boys was making a funny voice that got everyone laughing. In the end they made their puppets dance and that was hilarious.
For my last paragraph I am going to be talking about the news. I scrolled down to the Technology section of the news and saw how Apple literally took out the 248 GB version of the iPhone 7 to increase sales on the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. That is such a dirty move jsut to get more sales but it is smart. I hear a lot of people want the iPhone X and many are preordering it so they cna get it the day it comes (on midnight). Besides that I don't know anything that is happening on the news. I mean I saw on the top page a story about how a gold star widow heard Donald Trump forget her husband's name and had to research it. Anyway I hope that is enough. Until next time.....
