Ever since the year has started I've always dreaded having to go to school on Wednesday This is because I have two periods of Math, Health, and no Technology. It's mainly Health and Technology. We have Technology for four days, and as you can already guess today was not one of them. Instead, Health is what replaces Tech Although Health isn't the worst when having no worksheets (today) it still doesn' make up for the fact that Technology gets replaced. I feel that Technology should be every day, though the school has tried to improve that. You see, last year the 6th grade had only two periods of Tech. Besides that, we had a grumpy, old, teacher who almost no one liked. The only way you could possibly not hate her is if you do everything right (not a lot of those people).

Anyway, I'm going to start off with the beginning of the way and only stop to talk about "highlights" (if you can even call it that). The first period was Social Studies and my teacher talked about "Abraham Johnstone" and how he was hanged after prison. Like I said yesterday, no one knows whether or not he was innocent or not. Either way, "Abraha Johnstone" knew he wasn't going to be saved by anyone so he just gave up life. My teacher talked about the letter he had made to his wife "Sally" and how passionate it was. The letter was filled with just great vocabulary and perfect grammar. And he was able to do this yet black (my teacher was not trying to be racist, when he said that he meant the white people who essentially "downgraded him because of his skin color).

Community Circle wasn't interesting at all. The dean talked about uniforms but that was it Afterward, a few 6th-grade classes did their cheer and two of them were really good. There was one that I couldn't even hear because the kids singing were not loud (supposed to "project") and the other 7th and 6th graders weren't paying attention at all. After Community Circle was Lunch and it was too cold outside. That was why my class went into the Technology room and got to play on the computers until it was time to go downstairs to the cafeteria. It was a very fun experience playing with a few kids "Bullet Force" so that at least I didn't miss the whole experience. What I mean by that is I got to play 15 minutes today and usually I get around 38.

Health class was next and I was not looking forward to it. The teacher came in and said that my class didn't have to do any worksheets. I was pretty happy because whenever we don't have worksheets it's usually a video, and I sure was right. Since my class is on Stress the teacher wanted to talk about Meditation. I for one already know a thing or two about it, or at least should because I'm from a country where meditation is very high. The video we watched was a guy named, "Andy Puddicombe" who is the owner of "HeadSpace". Headspace is an app that helps you through meditation and supposedly makes you calmer. Andy Puddicombe is technically the "founder" of "Headspace" and is right now a millionaire. After watching two videos about him my teacher showed the 3rd one "guiding" us through the meditation process.

Google News

Every time I go on the "Suggested for You" page it has a lot of "Kpop". That why this paragraph is going to be about it. Kpop stands for "Korean Popular Music" and is heavily known in America as well as Asia. I don't think any other continent knows very much about it. Kpop uses dance moves and music from all around the world and is very much favored as "South Korean Pop". Besides that, Kpop is very modern nowadays and you never really see any "old western" themed music videos. Just to let you know, I don't think there are any Kpop stars by themselves. With that being said, a Kpop band is filled with either all boys or all girls. Apparently, one gender can't join the other's group. Maybe that's not true but from what I've heard it seems like it. There is this one crazy BTS (Kpop group: all boys) fangirl in my class that wishes to be a part of them but can't because she's a girl (what she told me). That is it for today's post!
