Today I woke up knowing my father had a day off. This isn't because he told me or anything. It's just that he usually never stays home at Friday and for the past three days has been at work (in the morning). So after turning off the alarm I walked over to his room and told my sister and him to wake up. Then I went back to my bed because I didn't have to go until 8:00 A.M. However, after 20 minutes my sister came upstairs and told me my dad said to come downstairs. For breakfast, my sister and I had eggs and rice. It was pretty good because for the past few days I've been having "Cinnamon Cereal". Basically, it was good to have something new for a change. My dad told me that I had to take my sister to her bus stop which kind of astonished me because I haven't done that in a while.
Fortunately, nothing bad happened and I was able to reach their 10 minutes before the bus came. We played a game to see who could jump to the other side of the tile (on the floor). In case you don't know I won because of the fact that she's smaller than me. If we were both the same age she probably would have beat me. After coming back home my dad was upstairs in his bed. Since I was all ready for school the thing I did to pass time was use the computer. At 8:00 A.M I grabbed a water bottle and walked out the door (remembering to lock the door). While walking to the stop I saw the bus coming. My first instinct was to run and I got there in time. For some reason, the bus came 5 minutes earlier than usual. That's why only one girl was at the stop when it came.
On the bus, I decided to use my time wisely and read this book called, 'The Three Musketeers". It has about 700 pages and isn't the easiest book in the world. The reason I', reading it is that of a school project. My teacher informed everyone that we had to make 6 groups with 5 people each. Each group would get a random book and have to create a schedule. The schedule was made so that each group member would have a specific time and chapters to read. Every week, one of the group members would finish and present what they read to their group, during lunch. My group consisted of 3 girls and 2 boys (me and another one called "Nabeel"). Eventually, after a few minutes of arguing I was chosen to be the first person (and boy did I argue).
So far I've read 5 chapters and need to finish 2 more. Then on Monday, I present what I've read to my group. Its pretty simple and every group has 19 weeks (2nd to last day of school) to finish the week. The project itself is worth 20% of my grade so as long as I complete it I should be good. I'm trying really hard to memorize everything because my teacher said if you don't present correctly you could receive an immediate zero. Getting a 0% on a 20% worth project isn't exactly on my "to-do list". Because I talked a lot about this I'm going to skim through the day. Social Studies wasn't really that much fun but P.E was. I did some "stepping" which involves may move contributing to the legs, arm, and chest. Lunch was pretty good because I had a butter roll to eat.
Google News
Those were the highlights of my day. The only other two periods that were good are Technology and Math. I never say Math so for me to talk about it as a highlight isn't very common. I obviously picked Technology because of the computers but Math was because of the lesson. Today we started a new lesson in Math and I'm starting to learn about it. I feel way more confident in it then my previous lessons and aim to get a better final grade for term 2 since term 1 wasn't the best for me. Anyway, I still have to talk about a story. This one I read was about a shooting thata happened in a school. Apparently, some 12 year old girl had brought a real gun but thought it was fake. She fired the gun and gave 4 people minor injuries. One to the head (didn't die), one to the wrist, and two to the legs. The girl is arrested and the 3 kids as wlel as one teacher are in the hospital. That's all for today.
