Today was pretty good. Sure, my Math teacher didn't tell me my exact grade on the last test but she did say "You did pretty well". I'm assuming that I did "pretty well" then. Besides that, Math class wasn't the worst. Since my class is finally starting a new topic everyone is at an equal start. I told my dad this yesterday but Term 1 wasn't the best for me. For Term 2 (now) I'm trying to do better and get around 85's and 90's. If I did that I know my father would be very proud of me. Today my class was talking about box plots and what mean and median are. In case you don't know, 7th grade Math is just a harder more advanced version of last year. Or at least that's what adults say. To me, I can say that "like terms" was something I never learned last year (memory).
Math wasn't the only good subject for me. Science was all right, what we did today wasn't exactly the most fun (it never is) but towards the end of class my teacher answered a few of my questions and showed "Class-Dojo" to everyone. When I looked at Class-Dojo it showed that I had 25 points. I know I talked about this before but let me repeat myself. My Science teacher said that if you can reach 25 points before the end of the week you get to go to Rutger's University and try the Skating Rink. When I was little my father would take my sister and me to New York City and there was a huge skating rink there. Unfortunately, the line was always so long so we never got to go. That is why going to Rutgers University would be a very fun experience for me.
One of the questions I asked was about Worms. My teacher said that worms can live without a tail or head and I know that of course. But something got me concerned. How can an organism live if it doesn't have its head? So I asked him what happens if we cut the worm's head in half. Apparently, worms don't have brains so it wouldn't matter. However, some worms have a part of their body that if you cut past that point the worm will die. I guess some worms can just live immune to any physical harm. I just thought of a question?!?! What if you just step on a worm? Your technically not going to "rip" it and the worm will be "squished". But then again, it probably would be so slippery and skinny that you couldn't even hurt them. I just want to make this clear, I would never try and do this because killing animals is very bad.
The thing that really makes me feel bad is that my teacher said he would buy some worms and cut them for the class. Even though the worms won't die (hopefully) it'll be bad to see him cut it. Something funny I told my friend was about the process for worms to regenerate. If a worm's body gets cut in half won't the worm's upper body have a to grow a new butt (I said butt instead of tail for the fun of it)? And the butt will grow a new head? It doesn't seem as funny when I told my friend so don't be surprised if you don't laugh. The rest of the day wasn't bad at all. During Health my teacher told us to do an assignment and then extra credit. I finished the assignment which was about "What Causes You Stress?" and then did the extra credit.
Google News
That was all for school (highlights), now let's talk about the news. Today's story is about Overwatch (game). A very popular streamer who's name I can't even spell (its that long) complained to Blizzard (company of Overwatch) about a particular player. They won't even say the name of that person but apparently, he has been stream sniping. "Stream Sniping" is a term that is used to define people who wait for the streamer they are watching search for a game and then they do the same thing. The goal of the "Stream Sniper" is to hopefully get in a match with the streamer. The bad news is, this particular "Stream Sniper" wanted to throw the game for his teamates. I feel bad for the streamer because he says he won't stream unless Blizzard bans the player who has multiple accounts. Anyway, this is all for today's post.
