I just completed reading, "Mr. Darcy's Diary" and the ending of the book wasn't as atrocious as I thought it was. I pretty much get what happened, the only thing that annoyed me was the number of words on a single page. Three hundred and thirty is okay with me, but when there are about 60 words on one page it really ticks me off. Thankfully, I won't have to deal with it anymore because I finished reading the book. Anyway, not its time for me to start talking about the day. When I woke up I knew my father wasn't going to be home because he had already taken his day off on Wednesday. With that being said I also knew my aunt was going to be in the basement. That way, I wouldn't have to drop my sister off at school. My aunt said that because she wasn't going to be home for a while she would get a lot of snacks and leave them in her room. That way whenever we wanted something to eat we could just go into the basement.

That was my morning for you! After my aunt told me I brushed my teeth and did the usual things before going to school (changing into my clothes for dress down, eating breakfast, and doing my hair). When I got to my bus stop it was 8:04 A.M and there were only two kids with me. At my bus stop, I don't talk to anyone there because none of them are my friends. Just a bunch of 6th graders who stick with their parents and one other 7th grade girl. However, she just stays on her phone the whole time waiting for the bus to come. Unfortunately, it came it 8: 16 A.M and by the time we got to school, it was 8:45 A.M. That meant I only had 10 minutes to eat my breakfast, get ready for the day and give my 2 dollars over to the teacher for dress down. Though I may have made it sound like a lot, I got through all of those things in 3 minutes. The rest of the time spent in Homeroom was to talk to my friends.

The first and second period was Dance and Technology. Before heading into Technology I want to talk about why I dressed down. Usually, I wouldn't do anything like that because it was a day where you could wear the gym uniform. However, during Dance, I am not the most flexible person and my clothes make me feel a bit uncomfortable at times. Now if I dressed down then I could wear my sweater and feel better. Anyway, sorry for getting a bit off topic. Lets head over to Technology! Immediately, I ran to my computer and typed in "NitroType". For those that don't remember, "Nitrotype" is a website where you go against 4 other people as race cars. The race car moves faster and faster as you type. Although, if you make a mistake your wpm (words per minute) goes down and so does the speed of your car.

Since I've had 4 years of experience in typing (because of this blog) beating my friends and getting first place in every race was an easy accomplishment. The second highest was 44 wpm and I got 66! That just proves how much this typing has really increased my speed and accuracy. I wish I could say the same thing about my sister but at the rate, she's going she'll never be anywhere close to me! Dance class was actually pretty fun! My teacher made new spots for everyone in the room and my number was #1. I know that doesn't mean I'm the best dancer out of everyone in the room and that I happened to be picked first but sometimes you just have to pretend things are going well for you. That way when you get in trouble or get mad all you have to think about is how happy you were a few seconds ago!

Google News

After changing our spots my teacher created three lines from the numbers (1-9, 10-18, 19-27). Each line was supposed to separately walk in a circle and come back to their starting position. Since I was the number 1 I got to lead my line and boy was it weird. Being in the spotlight or "leading" something wasn't exactly my favorite hobby. So as I started walking around the room it felt pretty weird and it was actually pretty funny. A lot of kids felt a bit uncomfortable and laughed with me. Unfortunately, I still need to talk about the news so let me stop from here. This is just a short story about the "Overwatch" league so don't be too excited. One of the coaches who is part of the "La Gladiators" said he was sorry for apparently "shoulder bumping" into two competitors from a different team. He said he was sorry to the players and their coach as well. The thing is though, we say it in the media instead of a quick "sorry" to the players at the time when he shoulder bumped them? Its a bit weird so tell me what you think, goodbye.
