I'm going to talk about what I did today at school! Mainly, because I don't feel like writing a book and it was a half day. But in order to talk about school, I have to begin where it all started, in my house. When I got up from my bed the first thing I did was turn off the alarm. Afterward, I put on my sweater and told my sister to wake up as well. Then the two of us walked downstairs to the kitchen. I was eager to find out about whether it was going to be no school. Unfortunately, there was school so I needed to go. At least there was to be a movie night. For breakfast, I had the usual cereal and brushed my teeth right after I finished the food. At that point, I had basically gotten ready for school completely. The only part I missed was putting on my shoes but there was no point at 7:30 A.M. Once it was 8:00 A.M I said goodbye to my aunt and thanked her for getting the munchkins from Dunkin Donuts.

At school, there were still only a few kids in the classroom. My teacher told me to put my sweater in the lockers and take my seat. He knew that I had a habit of putting on my sweater whenever I'm not supposed to. The first period was Technology, and my teacher said we were going to go to the lab. However, when we got there another class was learning. He took us in about 3 different places before telling us (my class) to wait outside the computer room. Apparently, there was an ESL group that asked whether they could use the computer room. My teacher thought there was space in the lab for my class so he unintelligently said yes. That was the reason we were stuck walking around the whole building for about 20 minutes. The good thing is that I know my Technology person is either a kind-hearted man or didn't want to be rude.

Anyway, all my class did once the ESL group left was play games on the computers. Now let me just say this, we didn't actually play games like "Cartoon Strike, Fortnite, ShellShock Live 2, or even Youtube". Instead, we went on the website our teacher told us to go to "MathWhizz.com" and played games on there. On the website, there is a section called, "Games" where they have stuff like "Tetris" and "Textris". Now on to the next period, for Dance, my teacher reminded everyone that we were supposed to be doing Haiku Dances. Basically, someone reads the Haiku for you while you and your partner make movements according to the words in the Haiku. My friend made a really weird Haiku and then we worked on the movements. His poem had the stuff to do with people eating apples and then people eating people. It was really weird let me say that.

Okay, I'm going to skip lunch and move straight into the movie night. There were four choices that the teachers of 7t grade let us choose from. I'm pretty sure I've already talked about the choices from the previous post but let me reiterate myself. The four choices were, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", "Where the Wild Things Are", "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows", and " Hunger Games". Since "Where Wild Things Are" is based on a kids book I didn't choose that, "Harry Potter" is honestly one of the most uninteresting movies I've ever seen, and "The Hunger Games" was something I watched during ELA, the movie I chose was "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". That was the one I really wanted to watch. You see, before voting on the choices I searched up each movie and found out that "Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory" (old one) was actually the scariest on the list!

Google News

Honestly, today was just fun, there wasn't any learning involved but why should there be? I mean today was a half day, last day of the week, a movie night, and the last week before Spring Break. Now it is time to talk about "Fortnite" since that is my 2nd favorite game in the world! I would name it the first but because of how easily you can die in the game I just don't feel like it. Besides, I'm not exactly the best player out of all my friends. Okay, so the title of the post was called, "Teachers and Students Say Fortnite Mobile is Destroying some Schools". I'm not sure if you forgot when I told you this but Fortnite actually came on the phone. Anyway, according to the story, almost every middle school in North America is playing the game and there are a lot of issues. Some schools actually have Mc'Donalds Wifi because of this game. You know, with so many kids using their school's wifi it probably isn't that good. Some schools have resorted to taking down the internet so kids can't play the game. However, I don't think that's very good for the teachers. That is it for today's post!
