Today was probably one of my favorite school days of the year! One really exciting thing happened today and some information was given by my teacher really got me happy! Let me start from the morning and from there talk about the highlights. When I woke up it was actually 5:52 A.M. However, the alarm wasn't ringing so I stayed in a comfortable place called my bed. At 6:00 A.M I turned off the alarm and put on my sweater. Afterward, I headed towards my dad's room and woke up my sister. The two of us went downstairs while my dad was calling someone on his phone. By 6:30 A.M I was basically ready for school, the only thing I didn't do was brush my teeth (same for my sister). Our father said to eat breakfast before brushing so we wouldn't get our teeth dirty right after cleaning them. I thought it was a great idea and immediately ate the food he made.
That was pretty much my morning, once it was 7:10 A.M my dad took my sister to her bus stop and I continued inspecting my hair in the bathroom. I also grabbed some snack to eat at school. I don't want to waste the food after my aunt got so much! It's not even a joke, she got a whole box of 50 "OREO PACKETS!" and another bag filled with different types of chips. These "brands" include Doritos, Fritos, Lays, and "Chips Ahoy" (another type of cookie). Also, today I switched my hair from the left side to the right. At school, a bunch of my friends was saying it looked better than my old style and wanted me to keep it. The only problem with keeping this style is that it needs time to dry. You see, I usually take my showers at around 7:30 A.M so I don't have a lot of time. I guess I need to take my showers as soon as I come down. That's the only way this is going to work.
Now let me get on with the "highlights", the first highlight took place in Gym class. My class just finished playing the first round of this game called, "Treasure Hunt". It's not that fun, I'm gonna be honest. There are four teams and each team has a hula hoop, each hula hoop has about 5 bean bags inside of them. Once the round starts players on every team have to run to another team's hula hoop and take one bean bag. Then they come back and drop the bean bag. The goal is to have the most bean bags in your hula hoop by the end of the round. It was pretty funny and unpractical at the same time. The reason it was funny (for me) was because there was this one team that had a ton of bean bags. Almost half of the class ran to their hula hoop and took a bean bag. There was this one kid standing behind his hula hoop and was screaming, "Don't take my bean bags, STOOOPPPPP!". I was laughing the whole time while running back to my hoop.
When the round was over my team didn't win but the screaming kid's team didn't either. A bunch of kids were yelling at the team that won accusing them of cheating. To be honest I was doing the same thing but only for the sole purpose of having my voice heard. Suddenly, my Science teacher popped into the gym and asked for me. I got up and walked out the door when I saw my father. He was going to take me to the book fair! I really enjoyed it and got about 7 books! I was worried that it would cost too much since the prices of the ones I got weren't low at all. However, my father didn't make a fuss out of anything. Just paid for them and said I could put the books in my class. I thanked him before leaving and even said goodbye. Then I walked back to the Gym and continued playing until it was Lunch.
Let me just quickly say my "bit" of information and favorite book. The information that my Math teacher thankfully told me was about how tomorrow there wasn't going to be any school. Apparently, it was going to be a thunderstorm with snow as well. Now its time to mention my favorite book that I got from the fair. It is called, "Five Nights At Freddy's: The Twisted Ones". I've watched a ton of videos about the game, "Fight Nights of Freddy's" and let me tell you it is a very SCARY GAME! They have jumpscares from everywhere and if you play the game at night I wish you good luck. The picture on the left shows you one of the jumps scares in the game. I hope you see how terrifying it is. I used to play this with my friend and we'd have a very fun time getting creeped out. The really creepy thing about the game is the lore or story behind it. The story is made up but still really scary, apparently, there was this pizza factory called, "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria". One day a man lured four children behind the store and murdered each of them painfully. According to the lore (story), the man put the souls of the children inside animatronic robots. This is where the game comes in. You play as a security guard who checks the hallways and makes sure everything is fine. In the game, these animatronic puppets slowly start moving and coming towards you. In the game there is a power gauge and once it's over the puppets jumpscare you. I've never once played the game without one of my friends by my side. Anyway, that's it for today's post.
