For today's post I am going to be talking about what I did yesterday at Liberty State Park, but before that let me start from the morning. I woke up not as tired as the day before (mostly because the day before was a school day) and walked over to my dad's room. He and my sister were talking about what we were going to do that day. I honestly just felt like staying home and playing my Playstation Four, and I could see that my dad already knew that. Thankfully, like a good father, he respected my decision and let me stay home to finish my homework while he and my sister ate breakfast at "Dunkin Donuts". For Breakfast, I had some "Cinnamon Cereal" that my aunt bought before leaving to go to work. I can't believe she only stayed for two days and then had to go.

Once the two of them came back from Dunkin Donuts I was on the verge of finishing my reading. Yesterday I read "Fever 1973" and also made a summary of it afterward. My dad said he didn't mind me doing a summary of that book and I was relieved. This is because I didn't have any other ideas except talking about 4 to 5 posts on Google News (but that takes super long). In case you read the post you also know that it was left on a cliffhanger. This was done intentionally so that whenever I haven't finished a book yet or not go outside my backup plan is set for me. Soon enough my writing was finished and my dad wanted to take my sister and me to Liberty State Park. As you already know I just wanted to stay home and play, but then he said that once we came back I could play.

Besides, in my head, it did seem as though I rarely go outside with my dad. Usually, it's just taking a walk for 10 to 15 minutes or going to the park with my sister. My father told me to get some Chinese food from the Asian place nearby but when I got there they were closed. Because they were closed we had to go to the supermarket and get some chips for our Guacamole instead. That would be enough food, also I forgot to mention. We were having a picnic! Now I usually get scared whenever I hear that word because everyone knows that picnics take place OUTSIDE. Anyway, for some reason, we got 3 big bags of chips and 4 drinks. Now, the good thing was that we all had our separate things to eat so no one had to share (I still stole some chips from my sister...).

On the drive to Liberty State Park, I spotted a "Student Test Driver" car right behind us. It seemed to be following our vehicle but after the sixth turn, it disappeared from my point of view. Also, at the park, the driveway was really bumpy when I asked my father this is explained that it was to slow the car down. The police didn't want anyone going too fast. The parking lot wasn't that full so we had space to easily park and grab our food. After a bit of arguing on which table to use we settled down and started eating the cold ice cream. Thankfully, it was placed inside of a bag that is used to hold cold stuff in like ice. Another 15 minutes went by and I got the ball from the car. That way, my dad and I would have a fun exercise. We ended the trip with my sister grabbing seashells from the "beach" nearby if you can even call it that.

Google News

The story I read today involves Hawaii, a state in America that I never talk about. Apparently, the volcano there finally exploded and it was very sudden. According to scientists and local individuals, the ground literally split open, inside the hole was molten lava that could easily burn you into a crisp. People feared for their lives and I hope not too many people suffered injuries. Some of the people that live there said a Volcano goddess named, "Pele" caused this event so that she could "reclaim" her land. I think this is very stupid but a fun way to look at things. Although, it may not be as "fun" tot eh local residents. However, now the volcano incident has finished and help can be sent to the people who need aid. The island itself is still shaking unfortunately, because of the volcano erupting. Hope you enjoy this post.
