The first period was Science and I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. And like I expected there wasn't anything fun that happened during that period. My teacher handed us a worksheet that would count as a classwork grade. I've started taking into account what my grade is and how each assignment I receive will impact it. So a class participation grade is the lowest type of score but it doesn't hurt to get a 10/10 (what I usually get). To be honest I wish that Spanish was a type of class that didn't revolve around a number grade. But instead, they would say whether or not you were "E", "S", or "I". "E" stands for Excellent while "S" means Satisfactory Progress. I'm fairly sure that "I" means something bad or failing, but I can't think of a word that starts with I and means bad. Maybe insolence? Anyway, after finishing my worksheet I handed it to my teacher and started brainstorming ideas for the Science Project.
In this project, I need to "create" a device that will be able to keep an egg from cracking at 2ft off the ground, 3ft, and then all the way up to 8 ft. If that works then I've got myself a fairly good device. You were able to have a partner but I didn't want to because none of my friends were close to me. Besides, it would be better to do the whole project in about 2 hours then work with a friend for about 5 or 6. For my "device" all I need are two plastic bags and some tape. I'm going to tape two plastic bags together from their little holding area so there is still space in between. Then, in that space, I will put the egg on the bottom bag. Finally, if my device works then the top plastic bag should be like a glider and slowly the bag will fall down alongside the egg.
Now it's time for the second period, P.E! In reality, I was really disappointed that it started raining in the morning. That meant that I and my class weren't able to go outside in the field. I hoped this meant we would play Line Soccer but instead my class did the same game from the field inside the field. My only problem was that the space we had to play was really small. It wasn't even the full gym! Because my teacher didn't want other kids to be sitting around and doing nothing she gave them one half of the room. Let's just say there were a lot of times where people kicked the ball outside of our area. And to be honest I don't blame them, especially since one of those people were me. At the last ten seconds of the game, it was still a tie, 0-0, but my friend saw that the team got a handball and went on the borderline.
Instead of passing it to one of our teammates he literally threw the ball with his hands inside of the enemy team's goal. My teacher said that was game over and we won. Although we can't do that in real soccer this game wasn't serious so she counted it. Anything, to not have to restart another 2 minutes. Anyway, that was the "morning" for today! Towards the end of the day, I had Math and was able to finish the test! It was just a few more questions that I reviewed for right before the class started. During Social Studies I told the teacher that I knew Chinese and then made up some random words that sounded Asian. He believed me and thought that word meant debate. I felt kind of bad but knew that telling him would have made him a bit mad.

I just went through about 4 different stories and they were all about animals in insects (the first one was about the octopus and the rest were about ants, wasps, and centipedes). Apparently, there was one story about ants and how they've started to grow very fast. Well, actually they've always been growing but for some reason, we are noticing them now. Just yesterday my sister left about 10 different lollipops in her drawer and afterward almost 50 ants came in. It was actually really scary when my dad removed the candy. The ants immediately started running away, I felt bad for them because at the same time they are still creatures but knew we couldn't have too many ants inside of our house. Anyway, let me know what you think.
