Book summery: The red Pyramid

I am going to mention in this essay what I did yesterday in New York and also about a new book called, “The Red Pyramid”. So you can forget about, “How to Live Without Fear or Worry”. My father decided that he wanted to go to New York in order to eat breakfast and I didn’t really have a problem. However, while in Journal Square we passed by Mc’Donalds and I just couldn’t resist the urge to drink a vanilla milkshake. Thankfully, he didn’t have a problem and we ate our breakfast there, instead of a Chinese restaurant in Queens. While eating our food I asked my dad if we could go to Barnes and Nobles because I wanted to buy some books (didn’t want to read “How to Live Without Fear or Worry”.

It took us a while but eventually we had already reached World Trade Center. My sister recognized that we both had low battery on our phones and my dad recommended that we go to the Apple Store. I had no problem with that and agreed to go along, while waiting or our phones to charge one of the people working there recognized by dad and his name was “Anthony”. He seemed to be on of the workers that helped my dad when they were doing some type of “sketching” hour. Lately, my dad has been hanging out in this store “sketching” right after his job and I can see why. Anthony and his friend (another worker) seemed to be very kind people, extremely positive. I genuinely enjoyed my time there.

Later on, we finally reached Barnes and Nobles but passed by the 911 Memorial. At first I didn’t understand why we went this way since it was 2 times as long, but then knew it was because if we went the regular way my father would have to pass by his work. Apparently, he told his workers that he went to vacation outside of the country. In my opinion that is a very clever idea but I’d probably too much of a scaredy-cat to try it. At Barnes and Nobles I immediately went the Manga section because the two new volumes of My Hero Academia were available in the store. I have the 11th one somewhere in my house but the 12th and 13th ones just weren’t available for me. Now I can spoil everything that happens to my friends since I have the book and that is ahead of the actual anime.

That’s basically what I did yesterday, besides that my father tried to find a place to eat besides Whole Foods since he couldn’t go there and McDonalds just wasn’t good enough. However, I knew the real reason why was because he just wanted to spend more family time and walk around to eat fresh air and exercise. Then, we went home and I played my video games until going to sleep. Now, “Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid” was another series that I bought at Barnes in Nobles and the reason it intrigued me was because the author was “Rick Riordian”, a person whose books I’ve read like “Trials of Apollo” and “Magnus Chase”. I just mythology about gods since it’s so interesting and the stories always have lots of action. After finishing it I’ll summarize the book.
