Yesterday I was finishing some of my writing when my father started knocking on the door. I was really surprised but just kept on writing, he walked in and started staring at me for 3 seconds straight before hugging my sister. But before he entered the kitchen he asked me where my math was. I told him that I had already done my Math and had proof but of course he didn't believe me (I didn't expect him to). The guy likes to hold a grudge, he started telling me that I was supposed to write it on a piece of paper and that I needed to do assignments but I reminded him that the mastery challenges are just as important. Since he doesn't like to be wrong he insists that my Math teacher told him the assignments are way more important.
I don't know whether he just knows he's wrong but pretends to tell the truth or he legitimately just doesn't know that the Mastery is as important as the assignments. And if that's the case then I have no hope of making him change his mind because he will never say he's wrong. So when he was eating food with my family in the kitchen I was doing my Khan-academy all over again. It was really frustrating because that meant that the five skills that I had accomplished were basically pointless. At least when he saw me he said that I wouldn't have to do another 5, 3 instead. After finishing the 3 assignments (not mastery like I did today), he seemed satisfied and stayed in the living room with my sister, meanwhile I was on the computer wondering what this new update was about.
It's this thing called, "Mojave" and apparently is supposed to run really well, but the only problem is I don't feel like installing it unless I have his permission. Otherwise when I do install it in already, he may get mad and tell me that I can never use the computer again or something like, "Never download ever again!". That is why if he approves of my math I will ask him whether or not he wants to download it. This is a new software that is actually on the newest computer that's worth $5,000. It makes the computer run smoother and the wallpaper is completely different, it was actually showcased in the latest Apple convention and my father and I were watching it on youtube.
