I am just going to continue from where I left off yesterday's post since I haven't done anything worth writing about today, but I just want to make sure that you know that the Holocaust was a dreadful period in time where the Nazi's killed the Jews for no good reason. After English Language Arts I walked over to Math with the rest of.my classmates and sat in my desk, just waiting until my teacher told everyone else to sit down and the out their quizzes from the day before. For homework we were supposed to correct any of the problems that we had gotten wrong and make sure we knew how to do them.
My teacher only did this because be cause he admitted that the last two days that we spent teaching this lesson wasn't exactly the best and he didn't think it was fair for everyone to do bad. So as long as you turned in the quiz at the end of class with the correct answers then you got a 100 on your paper and that counted towards our grade. We started our fourth lesson as well and were learning about, "Arithmetic Sequences". It's basically just like Slope intercept form that we learned in topic two except another way to write it.
Now, I personally do not understand the purpose of this method besides that the fact that it's just a more complicated way to write it but either way I understood how it worked. So basically you're supposed to do a[n]=a1+d[n-1]. The d is the slope in the intercept form and the [n-1] is the intercept. The a[n] is the y, and that is how it resembles the slope intercept form. Just to let you know, the slope intercept form is y=mx+b. The mx is the slope and the b is the y intercept. Soon enough, Math had finished and it was my duty to go to Community circle and endure the pain of having to watch the teachers start talking once more, but I still would rather have this than Math.
There is this one new teacher this year who was speaking for the first 5 minutes about how she was asked to introduce the guest speaker for today's community Circle and that they should give the speaker their upmost respect. I was fine with doing this until I realized that it was the principal of the school. Now believe me when I say that this lady is the grumpiest woman that I've ever seen in real life, Youtube has it's own fair share of old people who can definitely compete.
The point is, since she was the principal she authorizes all possible stuff that happens in the school, or confirms the action or request before it goes live. And it just so happened that she is going to be the principal of the High school as well. At first, she asked whether anyone wanted to ask her a question about what she does but literally no one cared. Then, she started forcing people today what her role is in the school (almost like she was asking for compliments). Believe me, it was pretty funny.
