Today I had to do this really frustrating English Language Arts presentation and I thought I didn't do that well. I was also crying but I guess that was mostly from natural causes (yawning cause I was tired), not because I thought I did bad in the project. My teacher said that the people who present first will be graded less hard because technically the teacher won't have anything to compare it too. Meanwhile, the person last will probably be at a disadvantage since they will be compared to every else. Sometimes I don't believe the because the teacher has a rubric and their thoughts on other projects shouldn't affect their grading.

However, I understand what she's saying because just cause you're not grading it based off the rubric doesn't mean that you will not think about anyone else's project. It's hard when the person who presented before you had just finished. Anyways, let me explain what the project was actually about. Basically, there is this conflict that is happening in Kosovo where the Serbs and the KLA (people protecting their civilians) are against each other and murdering people. The KLA is just a group of people who have taken a stand against the Serbian forces and eventually gained some control.

Soon enough, the Serbian forces had to retreat because they were slowly losing battles in which the KLA were recapturing their land. Due to tense fighting many of the Kosovo residents had to retreat because they did not want to be caught in the crossfire. I completely am against the whole art of killing itself and in class we were supposed to decide whether or not this was Genocide or Ethnic cleansing. Basically, Genocide is ethnic cleansing, mass murder, and discrimination all in one (extermination) meanwhile ethnic cleansing is getting rid of a particular group of people due to reasons of hate.

At least this is what my teacher had informed us. And using this I had conducted 5 slides that gave an introduction to my argument, 3 reasons, and a conclusion that would hopefully persuade others to consider this as a Genocide rather than an Ethnic Cleansing. And although this happened I just can't seem to consider myself getting a 100 because I had a weird pause at the beginning. Then again, we did go second. The reason I got kind of scared at first because my teacher asked whether anyone was born on February  and me and another kid raised our hands.

A bunch of kids saw my reaction and it was kind of funny because I was scared I would have to go first. Then, she said who is closer to February 15th and we both raised our hands since I was born on February 11 I personally thought that was really close. But it turns out that the other guy was born on the 18th so he went first. His presentation was really good so I'm kind of nervous.
