I just came back from school today and it was pretty good. I took a quiz on Math today because my teacher had taught as a new topic. We were learning about the system of equations and three different methods on how to solve different problems. Those methods are graphing, substitution, and elimination. I believe that Substitution even though I'm more comfortable with elimination and yesterday I forgot to study on how to solve for word problems. However, when I took the test it wasn't that hard to find out. All of those problems each looked extremely difficult when I first looked at them but after 5 minutes of trying out different things I knew what I had to do.

I was part of the first couple of students that finished and handed in their paper before my teacher told everyone he was going to start talking (but reminding them they had a little bit of time left). He was saying about how the kids who weren't finished derived this because they had been talking, dancing, playing, etc the past week and the grades for the test was proof of that. Then, he said that for the papers he had already received from other students that they were good because he checked over their papers when he got them. This gave me some confidence and I was happy to have heard this because it gave me hope that I did well on the quiz.

I already know from talking to my friends that half of the questions that I answered were definitely right but I don't know about the other two. One kid was talking about how there was a fraction in one of the questions but the other two said there wasn't. This really bothered me but I kept my mouth shut and just followed my teacher out the room as we were going to community circle. There were college people speaking to us students about their life and how they should go about living their lives, and ways to become successful. One guy was talking about how he wanted to become one of those agency people that work to help NFL stars with money and photoshoots, advertisements, and endorsements.

They get roughly about 3 percent of the star's shares but sometimes they can get up to 10 percent if they can get a good endorsement for the player so that he comes more popular and receives even more money. This is good for him, and after college this is what he said he wanted to become. Another person said that they were already playing college level football and one of the best on their team, I wonder if he makes it into the NFL world, but he reminded everyone that they should always have a backup plan so that things work.

Finally, there was another guy who came in later. He is a guy who makes custom shoes and has met many popular people who have paid him good money to make shoes for them. The guy had gold sunglasses, a pretty expensive watch, and was wearing a pair of his sneakers that he personally made. The guy was a bit swag and his accent was definitely more slang so I wonder what the teachers thought.
