Yesterday I finished reading this book lied, "Fuzzy Mud" and  want to talk about it for this post. So basically this book is about something that was supposed to help the world but instead turned into something horrible. So, at the starlit introduces the 3 main characters. Their names are Tamaya, Marshall, and Chad. Chad bullies Marshall for reasons unknown and Tamaya knows Marshall because they live close to each other and her mother doesn't let her walk to school by herself. Tamaya doesn't exactly know that Chad is even bullying Marshall because Marshall tries to keep things private but of course that isn't helping things. 

He is just getting attacked more and more, the only people that really know are the ones in his class but they don't seem to care and think that Chad is super cool because he got kicked from every other school he had been to and would've gone to jail if he didn't come here. His parents are barely able to pay for the expenses for this academy since it is expensive, the only people that are in this academy are really smart ones or just rich. It seems as though Tamaya and Marshall are the smart ones. I'm pretty sure Chad isn't rich because it literally says that his parents can barely afford his tuition. 

Anyways, one day Chad tells Marshall that they are going to fight at the bus stop and this bus stop is literally in the way of Marshall and Tamaya's regular path home. So that is why Marshall tells Tamaya that he is taking a shortcut and heads behind the school into the woods. Tamaya knows that she has no choice and follows him because like I had already previously stated she isn't allowed outside by herself. Soon enough, they get lost into the woods and somehow Chad is able to find them without mentioning any details. He starts to beat Marshall but then Amaya grabs some mud off of the ground and throws it at Chad's face. 

Marshall is then saved and together they run away while Chad starts grunting and screaming. When Marshall and Tamaya separate and go home Tamaya notices that her hand has a rash and tries to put her mom's favorite lotion on it but unfortunately it doesn't do anything. The next day her hand is all crusty and red, she can see specks of blood and tells her mom. Tamaya's mom says that she will take her to the doctor after school and Tamaya stops worrying, noticing some white powder on her hand which she assumes is from the lotion she used the day before. Chad isn't at school and Marshall is relieved but then when Tamaya shows him her hand he starts to get really worried. 

Marshall says that if she's going to the doctor it will be fine and in the mean time she better not mention anything about Chad to anyone. Tamaya promises she won't and Marshall leaves, but then she runs into the wood with her food and finds Chad in the exact same spot where she smacked him with the mud. Apparently he can't see anything because of the mud and then Tamaya realizes that the same hand that she used to throw the mud was the one where she had the deadly rash on. The fuzzy mud was the reason why this was happening, and it was all over the woods! So she gave him the food, they settled their differences, and she helped guide him back outside until the police found them.
