Amelia and Carly were best friends and loved loved each other as friends.Amelia was happy because she finally was in 8th grade where all the big kids were.Kindergarten was fun and all but now she was all grown up.6th grade was a complete horror so why wouldn’t 9th grade be? Their just the same numbers upside down anyway.She wanted to enjoy every single moment in 8th grade with Carly.They could mostly always talk to each other at school because the mostly had the same classes.Except in PE and ART.But Amelia had a huge crush on A boy in 3 of her classes named Gerald. She passed down a note in one of her classes toward Carly and wrote down wether she thought that Gerald was cute.Carly winked at her and after class said that she knew about the secret crush on Gerald.So when Amelia went home she wanted to go to her sister and ask for advice but her mom said no.She couldn’t believe it but her sister,Cleo,actually had a lot of people wanting to be her boyfriend even though they don’t know about how nasty she was.Their was a school dance coming next week and she didn’t have a date.She wanted Gerald to be her boyfriend and she thought about how she changed.She was always pretty much invisible at those parties anyway and never had a date.Plus she was super embarrassing.Amelia made a list of guys she would like to have for a boyfriend but at the top was Gerald.Cleo was trying to give her advice and many tips but Amelia didn’t listen to her mean old sister.Soon Amelia thought about asking Gerald to the dance a instead of him asking her but he said no.Sadie was also a very evil person who she knew and she was Gerald’s date instead of her.So Amelia didn’t go to the dance and Carly either and they had a wonderful time.
