| Magic Tree House #3 (Magic tree house has total 12 books and I have finished read all the other books and #3 is my last one) |
There was once a boy named Jack and a girl named Annie. They were the two kids who found the magic tree house in Pennsylvania. One day when thy went to the tree house Jack was curious on who was the owner of this tree house. On the last to adventures, they went to the dinosaurs's land and the castle. Whenever they point to a picture in the book and say they wish they could go there they actually go there.
Annie found an Egyptian book in the tree house. She knew that her brother did not want to get to anymore weird places but luckily since this Egyptian book is there it will convince him. When she showed it to her brother Jack he was amazed and said that pyramids and mummies were his 2nd favorite subject besides dinosaurs. He really wanted to go and so they went.
When they got there Jack and Annie saw a black sleek cat with a golden bracelet around it's neck. Then it ran away but as soon as it left the heard noises. They saw a lot of people carrying a golden box that held a mummy and opens carrying it as well. As soon as they saw the image it was gone. Annie thought they were ghosts but as soon as they saw the black cat again they knew it was no mirage. Suddenly when they reached inside the pyramid a strange figure ran toward Annie and turned to the other direction. It dropped a a golden staff with a dog head on it.
When they looked for it they discovered that it was a ghost-queen. It was one of the most important people who died and now it was the form of a ghost. It told Annie and Jack that it needed to find the book of dead in order to pass on to the next life. The reason she needed to get the book of dead was because if they found the book for her the ghost-queen could destroy the underworld and get to the next life as said.
Finally Jack and Annie agreed to help her. Soon Jack translated all of the paths to get to the book of dead. When it was done The ghost-queen ran away and they couldn't find her. But what they did find was a a door that lead to the coffin and the place to the book. When Jack found the book she put it on top of the corpse where only she could get it. They finally went back to the tree house and went back home.
