Middle School: Just My Rotten Luck

I am going to write about the story "Just My Rotten Luck" by James Patterson. As I have said before this author is one of my favorites to ever exist. He is probably the best kids author I have ever known. This is one of the two best series's that he has ever made.  Most of all it describes what middle school will be like when I go there next year. Now lets get on with the story.

Rafe starts off by saying that he joins the football team. Now that gets me excited. I know that if he does something like that he obviously has done something else. His team is the Hills Village Middle School Falcons. Now its time to take a flashback, 3 weeks earlier, to the point when he first started this journey.

Rafe is basically going back to Hills Village school, but Ms. Stricker and Ms. Stonecase don't make it easy for him. In order for Rafe to enter this school again he has to take part in a IEP class. This means he needs help in certain subjects and classes. They bring their homework and the teacher helps them. Rafe was so angry he was going to go to an IEP class with people he didn't know.

When Rafe starts his first day at Hills Village Middle School he goes to the IEP class. He meets the other "Special" kids in his class. There were 4 other kids. The one he liked the most was a guy named Flip. He was a jock but had a sense of humor. He gave nicknames to everyone. Rafe didn't know how he could've been in this class. He seemed so normal.

When Rafe was done with school he went home. While entering the house he noticed no one was there. He entered the backyard and heard everyone calling him bad names. He was insulted. As he entered the years everyone was circling around something. He asked them what it was. His mom said it was their new dog. His sister also told him he was taking care of the dog. She sounded upset. Now it was his responsibility. They also told him they were calling the dog the names, not him.

That same day Rafe was supposed to take that dog to the park. he noticed the dog was exactly like him. Almost everything they do are similar. Then he remembered his brother and decided something. He knew what the dog's name would be. Junior! It was perfect. Everyone was so happy that they actually had a big dinner in order to celebrate.

Until next time..........
