Have you ever gone to a festival or party that lasted only 30 minutes? Well I have, and its not fun. I went with my aunt to a church where they were celebrating the birthday of our Dalai Lama (Spiritual Leader). I showed my aunt New York because she still was not entirely familiar with it. We went from Journal Square (Train Station) all the way to 33rd street (Train Stop).
From there I picked up a cab for us so we could get there faster. My aunt got worried because she saw other people from the "Indoor" festival leaving. I wasn't because those people were just leaving early. She asked one of the other people here if it was closed, it wasn't. As I entered the "Festival" I realized it was a party. As soon as I finished walking down the stairs it was time to have fun. There was a section for the kids to play underneath the stairs and the adults would get one ginormous room to listen to a speaker, but the fun didn't last long.
My sister came with us to (sorry for not telling you) and she had no one to play with. Its not my fault she couldn't make friends. Thats why we had to leave. My aunt heard that in SunnySide (another place) they were continuing the "festival" with dancing and more speeches. It was mostly an adult party that I did not want to go to. Apparently my sister agreed with my idea, wonder why (sarcastic)?
As we were heading back toward the train station my sister got really hungry. I guess I did too because we went to a place called Speedy's.
Speedy's was the type of place where you could eat whatever choices they had. I had Pasta and chicken fingers. Not healthy, right? My sister got a double chocolate fudge cake and a cup filled with cream, strawberries, and blueberries. It was amazing. My aunt got the most though. A sale, with pasta, and chicken fingers. Then some tea and tomatoes. I traded my sister an ice cream for the cake and made a bad mistake. If you tried the cake you'd know what I meant, and of course we saved that awful cake for some apparent reason. She didn't even like it, but today she ate the whole thing in 2 minutes. I guess she was ".hungry"
Then I watched the new movie "Finding Dory". Its all about Dory remembering her parents and finding them later in the movie. The movie was fun. I had butter popcorn and fruit punch with it. The dumb thing about Pixar movies is that every time there's a happy ending. I don't know any one of them where there isn't. If you do write it in the comments so I can watch it and goodbye. Just so you know. I put the picture of the Dalai Lama since we went to its late birthday. Yeah I said it, late. Apparently in New York. His birthday is a work day for most people so we celebrate it in the weekend.
