Post 12

Today I’m going to write about a book I read called “The Last Lecture”. Since I don’t remember all about it I’m going to talk about the main points. Another reason why I can’t talk all about it is because I only got to page 46. Now lets get started. The main character in this book is called “Randy Pausch”. He has cancer and is estimated to die in three months. Now thats kind of sad. Along with that he has a wife named Jai and three children. When Randy dies Jai and the three children will go stay with her family near Virginia. In the last few months that Randy has he makes a speech in Pennsylvania about his life and what he went through. Those are all the big details of the story, but I’ll be sure to fill you in when I finished the book.

Now that I’m done talking about the book lets skip straight ahead to what I didd at school on Friday, On Friday was another half day because of “Veteran’s Day”. Another thing that “Veteran’s Day” changed for my school on Friday was that the kids were able to wear army related uniforms. Thats why some of the girls wore a navy uniform. However I didn’t see a single boy wear anything army related. On Friday my Science teacher gave us a quiz that we had to complete. If we passed the Quiz it would add points into our grade. Since I got a 7/8 a few points were added onto my total average.

When Science finished I had Social Studies next. For Social Studies the teacher also gave us a quiz. Fortunately for me I passed the quiz. After that I was given a study guide like the rest of my classmates. However my Khalifa ruined it by putting three red lines on the front page. Though thanks to my creativity, I was able to make the red lines look cool by outlining them. After Social Studies my class had Gym. For Gym we were able to play an actual Soccer game. In the end I only got to play for half of the game because my teammates wanted me to substitute. Seriously, their ball hogs and selfish. Unlike them I am diligent and smart.

All because Gym was finished my last period was Math. For Math we just reviewed on some of the questions for the test and used markers to write on the desk. Sounds fun right? No. It was actually pretty boring mostly because I was able to most of the problems. In addition I only had one other group member and he wanted to work by himself or get in trouble and not let me focus. During lunch I sat in my desk and ate by cheese sandwich. Then the teacher put on a movie for us to watch. I gotta say, the movie was really funny and I almost got to finish it. 

For my lats paragraph I’ll talk about what I did during the morning and afternoon bus. During the morning bus one of my friends brought his tablet and together all four of us played a game called “Ultimate Tag”. It was really funny because whenever one kid got caught we had to move our fingers a lot. Mine hurt so much that I had to ask someone else to be it. In the end it was fun. In the afternoon bus my other friend brought his phone and together we played a game called “Drive Ahead” and battled each other with our vehicles. Anyway thats enough for today and good night.
