When I got to school today it was 8:30 A.M. This was because while I was waiting for my bus at the stop there was a traffic jam. That is the reason why I think the bus came late today. There were a bunch of cars in a pile and sometimes it looked like two cars were about to crash. Another reason why the bus was late was that on one of the stops the kids there didn't want to get on the bus so my bus driver left them saying it was their fault and I agree. However when she told this to one of the people at the school they told her to go back again and see if they would listen.
Unfortunately, they did and I could hear them arguing all the way from my seat in the back. Anyway, when I got to my class I saw practically everyone wearing something related to a superhero. This was because my school was having a superhero dress down. It really sucked because I didn't have any clothes with a superhero logo or anything like that. I grabbed some breakfast from the back of the class and walked to my seat. Then I quietly ate until it was 8:55 A.M. That was when I got in line to go to my first class which was Social Studies. My teacher apparently wanted to talk about diversity and languages.
He asked everyone who knew another language to raise their hands up so I did. Even though I don't actually know how to fluently speak in my native language I still know a few words and it is my culture. Besides that, when he called on me and I said the name of the language he seemed pretty surprised and interested. After Social Studies class I packed up and held the door for my class. Then used the bathroom and walked to my homeroom. There, everyone was sitting in their seats listening to my teacher talking about our cheer. Basically, a cheer for our school is when we represent our class and teacher's college with a short rap or dance or song.
Our cheer was pretty cringy. We start out walking out room and getting in two lines. Then our teacher starts talking smack to the other classes while we finish. Suddenly he's supposed to howl and we all walk into the room in the two lines. Then he finish's his speech and we go back to our spots on the floor. I felt pretty awkward standing in the middle of the room with the rest of the class. When the period ended our teacher let us run outside and play until it was time for Lunch. For lunch, I had a cold cheeseburger with Dragon Juice (fruit punch) and an apple. That was about it for Lunch. After Lunch was done I walked with my class back to the homeroom.
When we got back to the homeroom it was time was Health! For health, we would have to present some questions that we asked our partner. My partner was a Philippines girl named, "Elisha". When we presented she did some type of move or dance that was in Japan and Korea. After this our last class was ELA. We watched some CNN 10 and then some TED. It was pretty fun and when it finished I went to my afternoon bus and got driven home. At my bus stop I said hi to my mom since she was still waiting for my sister and then walked home.
