While waiting for my bus I checked my watch and realized it was already 8:30 A.M. I was surprised and wanted the bus to come already so when I saw it down the street after 10 minutes I was pretty happy. The bus made me late for my first period, but only for like 3 minutes. Once I got to my homeroom I saw a different class because mine was already downstairs for Science. So I quietly walked inside to get something from my locker and then walked downstairs to class. As soon as I got to the class I realized that I didn't get breakfast, but by then it was already late to go back.
After Science class was finished I walked in my classroom line back upstairs to the Gym. For Gym we did our usual warmups (which involved pushups and situps). After that, we played a game. This game was called "Flip It", basically there were two teams and one team had to flip the cones down while the other team had to flip them back up. I was with the team that had to flip them back up and I already knew my team lost because knocking stuff down (especially cones) was a lot easier to do than putting them back up, it just is. And I was correct because when we played the game the other team won, twice!
That game really made me sweaty and I didn't like that so I tried to not run while at recess, but it was pretty hard. For lunch, I was eating some spicy chips with my friends and my mouth got really hot. I chugged a whole pint of milk and my mouth was still really spicy. So I ran outside to the nearest water fountain and drank the water for at least 2 minutes. Eventually, I drank so much water my stomach was hurting and I knew I would have to use the bathroom soon since I drank so much of it. When I walked back into the cafeteria I licked my fingers and only realized they had the spice on them until after I felt it.
During Social Studies class I was reading my textbook when one of the kids in my group was made me laugh. My teacher clearly told us we had to write 3 paragraphs after finishing reading the textbook and then 3 seconds later he asked how many paragraphs we had to write. Then at the end of class, he went up to the teacher and asked a question. I think the teacher was pretty annoyed because he called the kid's parents about how stupid the kid was acting. When it was "Dinner Time" a girl in my class gave everyone two chocolate chip cookies. That was honestly all that is worth mentioning at my school day today.
Today I finished reading a book called, "Confederate Generals of the Civil War". It turned out to be a pretty good book. It talked all about the generals on the Confederate side, the people who wanted slavery to continue. Something I found pretty interesting was that 2/9 of the generals actually didn't like slavery, but since their state joined the Confederate they felt like it was their duty to help the place they were born. That is all that really happened today. Anyway see you guys later, tomorrow its Friday and then the weekend!
