Multicultural Day! Okay, I'm saying it like it was actually a really fun day. First, it was not a half day so I wasn't happy about that. I can't understand why the school didn't do that, last year it did! Second, barely anyone brung food. Okay, so there were about 5 people who actually brought certain types of food. A girl brought fish, a boy got eggrolls which was something I was really excited about (wasn't good at all). There wasn't even egg inside of it. Just banana, and the outside of the roll was so small. However, when he asked me how it was I told him it was great (couldn't tell it to his face). A thrid person had some rice and macaroni in a little plate. The last "dish" was a lot of chicken, and it was humongous!
Like, the chicken was the size of hand and the girl who brought it had enough for everyone! It was a bit hard but after a few seconds of digging I was able to bite into the meat. Something that happened while I was eating, was one of my friends looked surprised at me while I was eating the chicken. Then I realized it was because I was using a fork in order cut the meat. Eventually I just used my hand because the fork just wasn't working. Before the period ended I started watching a movie that the teacher put on. It was "Secret Life of Pets". Unfortunately I already saw it at the AMC movie theaters but it wouldn't really matter anyway considering how loud most kids were in the class.
Besides Multicultural Day festivities I was doing fine. Got to play soccer during Recess and ate a hot dog for Lunch. For Social Studies my class was just reviewing stuff for the winter review packet. During Community Circle was when we had the multicultural day stuff so I'll skip over that. At Health our teacher told us that we had a quiz but it wasn't hard. Sure, it took a bit longer then I planned it too but other then that it was good and I was able to do the extra credit. For ELA (English Language Arts) my teacher gave my class two poems to comepare and then we discussed it. After that, he gave 5 questions to answer and that was due at the end of class. Good thing was that I was able to finish it.
Once dinner started everyone got into the seats they wanted to sit in before our teacher gave them lunch detention. This is because all my classmates know that my teacher hates when students stand up during dinner. It agrivates him so much and then he gets mad. I sat in one seat the whole period and was just watching the movie that was one the board. I was also getting very agitated because of the group in the back of the class. They are always playing some time of game that a boy named "John" brings from his house. Today was "Connect Four" and that really got me mad. I was about to go over there and yell at them but a girl did that before me. Then the lunch attendant broke up the game and everyone went back.
So apparently, the "government" has passed a bill dramatically expanding the limits of gun usuage with a permit. Now I know this is crazy right after we had the Texas Shooting but that is what they decided to do. I'm not agreeing with the government. I expected them to lower the usage of handguns but I guess I was wrong. I mean isn't what you would expect? Its jsut crazy that they decided to do something about it. So people with a "permit" will be able to use a handgun for self defense? That doesn't seem wrong but you never know the stories that people come up with. They could have murderded someone the handgun but say that person was shooting them. Anyway, what I'm saying is that gun usage should be more limited to people.
