Today was the last day of school before Winter Break! I kind of expected today to be a bit better but unfortunately it wasn't. Anyway, I'm going to explain what I did. After dropping my sister to her bus stop, I walked back home and was about to brush my teeth. However, I heard a knock on the door and ran because I was just thinking of my mother. And like I thought, she was right outside the front door. She explained to me that she wanted to drop my sister but was little late. Thankfully, my mother got me a breakfast from Journal Square that was pretty big. A black container filled with French Toast and Scrambled Eggs! Before leaving to go to my stop I said goodbye and thanked her for the breakfast. Now it's time for me to talk about what I did during school.
Once I got off the bus and into the building their were already a few kids waiting outside of my class. This confused me because why were they just standing there? That was then I realized my teacher probably wasn't in the classroom. The school made a rule that if their isn't an adult or teacher in the room then the students can't go inside. After waiting a few minutes (5) I saw him coming from the "Teacher's Lounge" and holding a plate full of breakfast. Most of the students in my class were holding a bag filled with gifts for their friends or teachers. I felt kind of bad that I didn't get anything but knew that it didn't really matter. It's not like if you don't bring a present for the teacher he/she doesn't like you.
For first period I had Technology and really enjoyed playing with my friends. No drama occurred and since it was the last day the Tech teacher decided not to give any assignments for us kids. That meant we could just play on the computers and do whatever we want during that 45 minute period. Next up was Dance and the Tech teacher took our class to the cafeteria. There, my class's Dance period started. Honestly, that was the worst thing that happened today. This is because all my teacher did was put on songs for the students to dance to. Lets just say I'm not the best dancer out there, okay? Sure it was pretty fun seeing the other kids do a "Dance Off" but in the end I was just sitting in the corner of the room reading my book.
At least I can tell my father I voluntarily did something to better my education. During Lunch and Recess I was playing Soccer in the field. Unfortunately it was not the best experience as well because the person who was supposed to take me and my friends to the field was late. I got a good 15 minutes before returning back to the cafeteria for food. That was when I saw all the classes sitting down and eating food in one room. Usually the four classes are split into 2 rooms with 2 each. However, since today was the last day the teacher's decided to let them have this privilege. I spent one hour just standing there and waiting until the "party" was over. The reason I called it a party is because thats what the teachers referred it to as.

Today's story is about Christmas but not exactly as happy as you would think. Apparently, an elderly couple had 60 pounds worth of marijuana and were caught with it. They explained to the authorities that they were simply spreading "holiday cheer"...... I really doubt that the police would ever listen to that excuse and surely enough, they didn't. The couple which were 80 and 83 were carrying an estimated $366,000 worth of marijuana. That must have really sucked but what sparks my curiousity the most it what they were going to do with it. I mean, would they really smoke all of that? Surely, that isn't healthy and most definitely hurt your lungs and health in general. Besides that, at the end of the story it says that the elderly couple were not in custody. Then where were they?
