Today I just read "Number the Stars" for about 35 minutes, however, I was able to finish 5 chapters in that time period. Instead of talking about the book this post I'll do it this weekend. This is because I want to talk about my day at school. After waking up from a good sleep my sister turned on the light and it hurt my eyes. Fortunately, before I yelled at her she turned it off. The light caused my eyes to hurt a little bit so it took me longer to get out of my bed. My aunt had come from the basement and helped my sister make breakfast. I wanted to change into my school uniform immediately so I had enough time to eat and go on the computer for a little while. Thankfully, my aunt dropped my sister at her bus stop because she promised her so I could eat in peace.
Once it was 8:00 A.M I said goodbye to my aunt and walked outside knowing that I locked the door correctly. The bus arrived at 8:15 A.M which is when it's supposed to come. That whole bus ride I just looked out the window because there was nothing better to do. My backpack had no books to read and my homework was already completed. And even if I did have homework to complete there would have been no possible way to do it on the bus where its always moving and making little bumps. The bus got to the school at 8:30 A.M so I didn't have to worry about the door being locked. Inside it wasn't cold at all so I wasn't in a bad mood. My brain told me to be nice so when I entered the classroom my first thing I said was, "Hey, Mr. Correa.".
For the first two periods of class I had Social Studies and P.E. During Social Studies my teacher showed us a song used in the "Black" anthem (which is apparently a thing). The song is called, "Life Every Voice and Sing". In my opinion, this is a very long name for a song, I mean it's not bad but they couldn't have come up with anything shorter? I heard the song twice but only started noticing the lyrics at the second time. This is because the kid in front of me was basically blocking the middle of the board. Since the song was playing and I didn't want to be loud or rude, I kept my comments to myself. At P.E my class did the regular warmups and then played "Polly Spot Basketball". Since I can't shoot very well I volunteered to be the rebounder (the person who gives the ball to people).
Let's just say that didn't go very well. Sure, my team won twice, but it wasn't even because of me. Besides that, whenever I tried to give the ball to someone who never got it, that person would literally hand the ball to someone else. Okay nevermind, that was pretty hypocritical. Because when I was forced to give the position of a rebounder to someone else I felt like my whole life was flashing before my eyes. Every time someone handed me the ball my instincts told me to give it to the best player on the team. Eventually, I pretended to make a shot and sat down (it didn't matter anyway because we lost that round". The rest of the periods weren't anything special, lunch we didn't go outside, Technology was just the same as always, ELA was very productive, and Math was standard (okay).

Today I have two stories, one that I heard from school and the other about a game. The one about school is what I'll start with. Apparently, in Hawaii, there was a false alarm about a nuclear missile attack. The video my teacher showed me showed hundreds of people running for their lives in panic of the alert. Good thing it wasn't true because then a nuclear war really would have started. My father told me it was fake but I can't believe that. The video showed multiple signs saying "False Alarm" and even a man talking about how scared he and his children were. The next story is about a game I don't even play. Now I know what you're saying, why talk about a game you don't even play? Well, the company (Blizzard) who made the game released an animated film that was really cool! The cool thing was it was in an Anime style! That was what made me watch the film in the first place.
