For today's post, I am going to be talking about the "important" events that happened today at school. The first "important" event is Technology. You see, my best friend had to leave at the start of the period because he was going to "Google". Last week there was a competition for the top 4 people in the class with the highest amount of Classdojo points. Unfortunately, I wasn't in that group so I had to stick behind with my other classmates. Either way, it was fun without him (that doesn't mean I don't think he's funny). We played "Bullet Force" and I fairly enjoyed it. However, for the 4 games we played, I didn't win a single game. I was always either 2 or 3rd place. Sure, I got a triple kill but that only made me happy at the time it happened. After the last round, I jumped out of my chair and started grabbing my hair in rage. But the winner was always a good sport and said "nice job".

The second "important" event that happened was during Dance. At the cafeteria, my class waited for about 5 minutes before the teacher arrived. Her previous class was running a bit late because she was picking who got to be in the top 5. Let me explain, my dance teacher needs to pick 5 people from each 6th and 7th-grade class to see who did the best in their particular dance. I didn't want to get picked but still like the feeling of being competitive so I tried out. Out of the 29 students I got in the top 11 and then got eliminated. It was a pretty fun round and I liked it a lot. It was pretty funny when all the kids after me that got eliminated said stuff like, "Finally" and "Thank God!". They were implying that they were happy it was over for them but in reality, I knew most of them actually wanted to be a part of the top 5.

Third "important" event, since my best friend wasn't here (at the Google Trip) I had nothing to do. I don't know how to play Basketball and the kids playing soccer were really annoying. Eventually, I saw "Nabeel" (a really devoted and kind person that I would recommend to cheer you up at any time). We hung out together, I helped him with his "Sales Tax" homework while he and I conversed on our "Classic Book Club Project". Then, Lunch came and I volunteered to help push the garbage can around for all the kids who didn't want to get up (they weren't supposed to anyway). Afterward, my teacher was doing his regular announcements in front of the 120 students in the cafeteria. He mentioned me and this other girl about how we were keeping the cafeteria clean.

Suddenly, one of the girls in the far back of the room said "Good Job Rinchen!", and then other students thought it was fitting to clap. I started getting really happy and excited because 120 students were praising me! It felt really good and my teacher said I even got a dojo point for it, however when I checked my Classdojo I didn't get it. I just texted him on Classdojo letting him know he forgot to give me the points. And as of right now I'm still in the lead for most points, I'm definitely eligible to go on that field trip to "Drexel University". It's apparently two hours away and the students participating are supposed to come at 7:30 instead of by 8:55 A.M. I thought this would be a problem because last time this happened my dad said I couldn't go. Thankfully, he said he would work things out.

Google News

Here is a post about 'Fortnite" and how the NSPCC thinks Fortnite is not good for kids. Now let me tell you that this game is extremely fun and you can only play it if your 12 years old or higher. And just to let you know when this game came out I was already 12. Now, let me explain what the NSPCC is. It's a U.K charity organization that helps people with abuse and other issues. In my opinion, they are totally irrelevant and should not be ont he topic of gaming. Instead, this organization should focus on real life things like therapy and helping people who actually have problems. I can't believe they've said that Fortnite is "addictive". Sure I play it but only for 2 to 1 hours a day! Addictive is like straight 5 to 6 hours. That is crazy. Only some kdis do that, not me. So please, don't listen to this NSPCC.
