In my opinion, I think that America should not take on the practices of other countries where they force citizens to participate in military action. This is for many reasons but first, let me explain the negative and positive outcomes of this. Some negative stuff that could come out of forcing citizens to participate in the military are civilians being killed. Would you want your own nation to start dying one by one just because they have been forced to fight by the government? No, I definitely would not. I think that forcing to join the military is a very bad move. Another reason why I think this is bad is that people will start to overthrow the government. When I say this I meant the people of America will come after the government and the two sides will fight.
I would hope the government wouldn't want their own people to go against them. Now let's look at the "positive" side of this. The country fo America will have a much "stronger" military power because of all this recruitment. But honestly, is there really any other good outcomes? Many good lives will be lost, you never know if someone who was forced into the military had a talent that they could have shared with the world. Let's see the state of countries that have already taken a liking to this practice. Let's look at "Afghanistan", obviously it's not going well at all because the U.S itself needs to support it and it's fighting against the Taliban.
Now I don't think that Donald Trump or the U.S government itself would want this to happen to them. Anyway, this is why I think that America should no force it's own citizens to go ahead and fight in the military. Americans or people themselves have the right to choose what they want to do with their lives. Some may want to fight for their country and there is nothing wrong with that. But people that just want to stay out of the fighting and have a peaceful life shouldn't be affected by this at all.
