The first period was Social Studies and my teacher couldn't take my class and me to another room because the teacher already got there. That is why he had to improvise and we talked about the current day events. Once Social Studies was done it was time for Community Circle. While all the teachers were busy bringing their students inside of the cafeteria I was telling my friend that Scholar of the Month was definitely mine. However, when it was my class's turn to announce the student I didn't get picked. It was pretty funny and then I asked my teacher what it takes to become a student of the month. He said that you need to work hard, but I already work hard! Of course, I didn't tell him this because then he might not pick me for next month. Afterward, it was time for lunch.
Something that got me really mad today was when the lunch card holder gave my lunch card to another kid because that student didn't have one. I said that I needed lunch too and the kid (lunch card holder) apologized. So then he gave me some other random person's card saying that the woman who you give the cards to wouldn't notice. However, I refused because I wasn't going to take the chance to ruin my reputation as a model scholar. Thankfully, I bought lunch from the deli-grocery store. My plan was to eat the school lunch now because it was a hot dog and eat the food I bought during dinner because dinner is rarely ever good. Anyway, I still had a fun time and played Soccer during recess. Apparently, the school is doing something new now. If you get detention your allowed to play during Recess but have to stay in your room for lunch instead of going to the cafeteria.
Before it was the exact opposite, I don't exactly know what to say of this. I would think that most kids like this idea but others wouldn't. For instance, there is this one girl in my class who is very non-athletic (doesn't like to "move"). So if she got detention she wouldn't be able to eat lunch with her friends. I think the teachers have made this decision to make the students feel worse about having detention in the first place. They know that lunch is when we kids get our socializing time since in recess your usually playing and have less time to talk. Of course, I could be completely wrong, I don't know how certain kids perceive lunch and recess. Now before my four paragraphs are over I want to talk about something that happened a week ago. It was because of homework (not related to me).
Basically, there was an assignment that was due last week about child obesity. And then my teacher asked the class who did and didn't do it. Well, about 7 kids said that they didn't do it and my teacher seemed to be shocked, or at least his reaction made it seem like it. He started saying stuff that even I thought was a bit too harsh. Stuff like, "We are supposed to be the ADVANCED CLASS! How can we be advanced if we have about a quarter of the class not doing their homework?", that's basically a summary. Then, before commenting any further he asked my dance teacher (who was in the room) to tell him if he was going too far. She said he was okay, and then he continued, actually pointing out the grades of some of the students that didn't do their homework, "74! 62! You shouldn't be in this class!", let me just say that he wasn't yelling but I thought he had gone a bit too far.

I want to announce some of my news before talking about the actual "news". I have started from yesterday re-watching this anime called, "Tokyo Ghoul", all 3 seasons. When I am finished watching this anime I plan on summarizing the plot of it on the blog and what I think of it. Anyway, the real news is that Fortnite (game) has just updated their new mode called, "Turbo building"! In addition, a new item has been added into the game! It is called. "The shopping cart!". According to the patch notes, there can be up to 2 people in it and you and your teammate can drive all the way to the circle much faster than regular sprinting. Also, the person in the passanger seat is able to shoot other players, the driver can't. Let me know what you think about this.
