Book: Sero

Last night I did not have a very good sleep, the reason behind that is because I turned the air conditioner off way too early so I was sweating the whole night. I switched pillows like 3 times and was a bit annoyed by the sounds of the neighbors. So I wouldn’t be surprised if I fall asleep in the afternoon. Anyways, yesterday my dad took Monkyi and me to Staples so that we could go school supply shopping. While driving in the car I felt a little sick but entering the store made everything better. I immediately, grabbed a cart from pile next to the doors and headed straight for the notebooks since that would be the first item on the list. Last year I got some really bad 3 subject notebooks that weren’t really that good of a quality. Either that or the color just really bothered me (I hate Navy Blue even though its the school’s colors). Then the next thing on my list were folders but I got a bit distracted by some gaming chairs that were lying on the other side of the aisle.

Eventually, I was able to get back into the game because I saw my sister already halfway full with her basket. And let me tell you, I literally dominated my supply list. I was able to get everything in under 15 minutes and even lost my list towards the end. Thankfully, the only things that I needed from there were some donations to the school, and obviously why would I do that? I mean what has the school done for me besides give bad teachers and unfair school uniform policies. The only reason I’m even staying in this school is because of the friends that I’ve made and the fact that I’m not ready to leave them behind for a new life. And the fact that Beloved is supposedly going to become a high school just boggles my mind. They just finished building the middle school so that makes this 1.3 million project possible?

Basically, the NJ school department has decided to fund Beloved since it’s right now one of the leading schools in the state in terms of academics. This new high school looks really cool but I just don’t know where they could possibly fit it. There is one space that’s not being used but the way the outline of the high school looks makes it hard to believe they’ll have a gym, swimming pool, classrooms, and cafeteria all at once. But I’ve been babbling for a while and should go back to the school shopping. Once everyone finished getting our supplies we headed to the cashier and I heard a man complaining about the water prices, $1.59, that’s pretty big for just a simple water bottle but I wasn’t going to say anything. My sister was pretty surprised that all of her items only needed one bag while mine needed 3 but I wasn’t. I’m in middle school and we need everything we can get! Until Next time!
