Another half day

Since today was a half day I'm pretty sure I can fit my whole day into these three paragraphs. Anyway, let's begin with the first period, first of all, my bus was late once again. But to the point where they had to have all the students sign their names before heading to class so they wouldn't be counted as late. Though I pretty sure they counted us late for the other times before today when the bus too way too long. My class was already into the first 5 minutes of class so I had to rush to eat and fix my uniform (take off my sweater and put it inside of my locker. One thing that I hate is if your only going to wear the sweater for two days a week than what's the point of spending almost 30 dollars on it? It just doesn't seem worth it, and then if you want to wear something on top of your shirt for the other three days you have to buy another specific vest that looks horrible.

During ELA, my teacher let us finish our station work before proceeding to tell us about the uniform and answer any of our questions. Soon enough, it was time for Social Studies and I was looking forward to it because I finished my ancestry chart. My father helped me the day before when I told him it was for a school project. However, when the teacher saw what I and a couple of other kids wrote he told us we did it wrong. The reason was that we were supposed to do our great grandparents as well which I totally forgot. Thankfully he didn't seem to mind since a large number of people made the same mistake as me and collected it as it was. That's when he and the students were notified that there was going to be a community circle happening right after Social Studies. I don't know why they decided that having a community circle was a good idea now but it's their choice, not mine.

So we all rushed into the gym even though the multi-purpose room had enough space for everyone. I guess she thought that the room would be too small, but boy did she think wrong. There was literally no way for a kid to use the bathroom unless all of the kids surrounding him were cramped together to the side. And then when he finished they would have to cramp back together once again. But, basically, the community circle was about us kids and some of the problems that we have been facing, including school uniforms, how many times we should be going to our lockers every day, and how chaotic the middle school was in the first week. What surprised me the most was probably how the lost and found box in the dean of student's room was already full. That proved that we needed to be more careful with what we were carrying.
