Just today I got news that all of my EOT's were going to be due by the end of this week. Well, I didn't mean to say "due", instead we have to take the test on certain days. What I don't understand is why ELA and Math were originally supposed to be on Wednesday, and then they moved the ELA EOT to tomorrow, meanwhile leaving Science and Social Studies to continue being on the same day (Friday). Were they trying to give us a break on Thursday? Anyways, the one that I'm most nervous about is obviously Math because it's my worst subject out of everything. I'm pretty sure we don't have a Spanish EOT because that would really ruin things for me. Or maybe the Spanish EOT is going to be on Thursday!

I don't really know whether or not my class has Spanish on Thursday but if we do that's probably the plan. My Spanish grade as of right now is a 100 but with how little grades have been put into my Spanish you don't know how much an end of term test might affect it. Either way, let's stop talking about Spanish and move on to ELA. I just finished studying for the ELA EOT because some thankfully my teacher sent us a "study guide" on google classroom. In reality. it was just a list of things that I needed to know but because of that all I needed to do was google a couple of things and regain my memory.

Let me tell you what I know as of right now, so Tone is the author or narrator's attitude when writing and using the diction or word choice you're supposed to find out what the tone is. They use big words like diction and word choice but in reality it's just common sense and reading the text a couple of times. The same things go for theme, except this time you need to go a little bit more in depth, a good author will make sure their theme is easy to understand using the diction. I also, learned about how the third person point of view apparently has 2 separate definitions.

There is the "third person limited point of view" and the " third person omniscient point of view". Now basically, the limited third person is when the narrator mainly focuses on one character and their thoughts the most rather than the others, this character is usually the main character. Meanwhile, the omniscient third person point of view is just knowing all the character's thoughts and feelings. On my 4th Pearson test I remember this being on it but the study guide didn't mention it so I was pretty confused. However, it turns out this was one out of the two questions I got wrong because my score was still a 96.

I know a lot more but I want to talk about something that's actually pretty sad and worrying for me too. So when I walked into the class one of my friends was all sad and depressed. So I asked him what happened and he told me that he accidentally canceled his High Tech application and the due date was already past. I had lots of sympathy and together with the help of one of my other good friends we were able to cheer him up but saying stuff like, "Who wants to go to High Tech?" and "It's all about County Prep". But this got me really worried because yesterday I redid my County Prep application but it was still okay because the application was due the day after. But before updating my County Prep essay it gave me the option to update my High tech one as well. And because it was already telling me to do so I fixed mine all up and made it much more convincing. Basically, all though I didn't cancel it I updated the application so it might just take the one before and that wasn't good at all.
