After finishing my writing that I did yesterday my mother came home and scolded me for not saying end to getting a haircut. I told her my reason later on in the day but in the meantime she was just saying stuff like, all you want to do is play game and "you never listen to me". And she was saying this right next to my father because she wanted him to yell at me. I could tell this because she was literally looking at him while talking to me. I hate whenever this happens but then again I do the same thing to my sister so I'm pretty hypocritical. Afterwards, she went upstairs because she needed to go to sleep and my dad was making dumplings. When I actually told him I finished the post he demanded I get off the computer and just relax.
Then I went on my phone and tried to lower the volume but he can tell whenever I'm on my electronic device because it's so quiet. So he told me to place it down on the sofa and sit in the kitchen while he was making food. He said I could go back to playing after eating so I just sat down and did exactly as he said. My dad and mom think that I talk to just random strangers whenever I play my games but most of the time it's just my friends. Either that or I just play by myself trying to get as many wins as possible. And let me tell you, that isn't easy. The only times I actually do talk to other random people is whenever I play Duos or Squads ( a two player game mode and then a 4 player game mode).
And the only reason I would ever play those modes are when I do it with my friends or need to complete a couple of challenges. In addition, in Fortnite (the only game I play on my computer), there is an option where you need to press a button on your keyboard in order to talk. This is so that people who you are talking to don't have to listen to other random noises that are happening around you and can focus on yourself. Some people just put it because they might be talking to another person in real life rather than in the game and they don't want the person who is their teammate to hear. I use the button touching feature because of the first reason since my sister is always playing music in the background (behind me) and I don't want my friends to hear.
Also, my friends complain that they can hear me trying because my keyboard is super loud. The only actual reason some gaming industries make their keyboards loud is so that the player who is using them knows that they pressed the button. It sounds kind of stupid but can definitely happen, if you actually hear the button being pressed rather than not hearing anything at all it's a more definite measure to knowing you pressed the button.
And in some games pressing a certain key while playing is matter of life and death so that's really useful. I shouldn't even be able to talk in the first place because I don't have a mic but the IMAC that we bought has an in built microphone on the bottom both for gaming and just if your doing office work and talking to someone else. I think that this post was pretty good because I talked a lot about one subject, mostly gaming and a little bit about gaming. In my opinion it had lots of details.
