When I woke up this morning my stomach wasn't hurting at all, I was doing fine and just walking downstairs to get ready for school. But of course, as soon as I get to school it starts to just kill me. Actually no, you know what I just realized? I started to get a stomach ache when I entered Social Studies class, because I don't remember having to kneel down and hug my stomach during ELA or Math. My social studies teacher told my class to keep on reading if you haven't already finished and I started to read the textbook. But, while I was reading you may have already expected this, I started to put my head on my textbook while I was reading so that I could keep my hands on my chest.

However, it didn't last long because soon enough my teacher told me to sit up. So I put one of my hands on my stomach and used my other hand to keep my head up. I looked at my teacher to get his approval since my head wasn't down anymore but he didn't seem pleased. Instead he threatened to call my parents and that's when I started to get shocked and mad at the same time. Of course, I wasn't going to display my anger towards him but I for sure was going to try and stop him. So I explained that I was indeed sick and my stomach hurt. He told me to go to the nurse but I didn't feel like walking all the way over to the other building because I was in so much pain.

Just to let you know right now I am not feeling anything because I drank some Ginger Ale and that is supposed to help lessen the pain. I read about it on the internet, back to the story, so I made up an excuse saying that the nurse wasn't going to do anything because I've heard from both my sister and friends around me that the nurse really can't do much. Even teacher's say it from time to time, and it gets really frustrating. I try to hold my ground but by this point there is no point.

He starts to grab his phone and pull up his contact list. He says the last 4 digits of my father's phone number but I don't respond. Everyone in the class is laughing and I honestly don't mind because whenever anyone get's in trouble everyone else laughs if it's funny, and my reaction certainly was. I went to this one kid who has gotten with Mr. Gilyard for quite the time and he told me that it's best if you don't make eye contact and ignore because otherwise he'll say, "Why are you staring at me, read!" or you'll just attract too much attention to yourself.

Just be quiet when you don't need to speak and only raise your hand when answering questions, and that's exactly what I plan on doing from now one. Hopefully, this will prevent me from getting to anymore situations just like this. I was in a state of disbelief by the time class was ending because he called the parents of two other individuals who I don't plan on saying their names. One of them wasn't even doing anything, at least from my point of view. The other is always getting in trouble by not just him so I don't mind. This is what I wanted to talk about for today, let me know what you think about this.
