So right before I started writing this post I was just typing in Fortnite because there was some new things that got leaked and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Also, to let you know when I say leaked I mean when that there are certain people who dedicate their time to cracking down Fortnite's updates so that the gaming community will know what happens ahead of time and get hyped for it. I don't understand while Epic Games isn't allowing this to happen, they don't like when people say what's going to happen ahead of time. 

Now sure, you might think, "Well Rinchen, they obviously don't want people to see what's coming into the item shop anymore because it's supposed to be a surprised. But honestly, if you want people to get excited for what your hoping will be a success (hyping the gaming community), then why interfere? It just seems like a better way to earn more money, business thinking. Now, of course that doesn't mean that if no one doesn't leak it the new skin or item won't make them a lot of money. But surely it will give them less than if the skin was anticipated for. Anyways, let me get back to my story. 

Now, when I first started playing Fortnite (back when it was unpopular), I really liked the game and wanted to get a really cool skin for my character since I had never spent money on the game before then. And, when I looked at the in-game shop this was the skin that happened to show up. I liked the way the skin looked and enjoyed the nice attention to detail as well as the boots because those looked sick. Now, over the past year that I've been playing Fortnite, it just so happens that today the skin comes back but with OG styles! Now, let me explain what OG skins and styles are. 

So, right now my only rare skin in the game is the Gingerbread Man and I'm happy that I got him. I remember the moment entirely. It was Christmas last year and my dad gave me a 25 dollar gift card, so I spent it on v-bucks and got this skin. I didn't think that the woman version looked that cool at the time although now I kind of changed my mind. Okay, so OG stands for "Original" and to the gaming community something that is OG is something that is rare or not a lot of people have it, I know that some people have paid like 100 dollars just to buy accounts that have skins like this. 

So, when I found out about the OG styles I just think of how cool it is that out of the whole gaming community not even 10% have this skin, yet I do. I gives me a personal connection to the game and I love playing it to this day. The picture that you see on the top is of the Gingerbread man back when I got him. Today, they added OG styles so that people who had the skin back when it first came out won't feel left out. The new OG styles make the skin look burnt because it fits the theme of Christmas, I think it looks cool.
