In my English Language class my teacher has been working with the students to make this research paper about the Holocaust and let me just tell you that this has bene a real pain for me. I barely finished the essay but to my surprise a couple of my friends have said that overall its pretty good. And when I say friends I really mean just the people who are in my row. We are supposed to be in rows of 5 kids each and in each row the kids are supposed to either switch their chrome books or just walk over to their desk and comment on their writings.

But each kid is assigned a different topic to comment about. So one of the kids in my group got topic sentence and thesis statement, meanwhile I got context and background information, finally another kid got transitional phrases and MLA format (this is basically the font and whether or not it has double space lines like I should, New Times Roman, and then 12 as your font size. I know what you're thinking, why is it so specific? To be honest, I don't know but the essay looks very formal as long as you don't read it.

Also, something really exciting for two kids in my class happened. There are about 3 kids in my class who I know applied to Saint Peters but as of right now 2 of them got their letters and both of them were accepted. Just to let you know, Saint Peters has a High school called, "Saint Peters Prep" and it seems to actually cost money, I was very surprised by this but know that the education is what matters and Asian parents will do anything to get they're children's smarts up. Yes, all three of those kids who applied are Asian.

Saint Peter's Prep is supposed to be very hard to get into and one of them was even bragging about it, but I don't blame him because if I applied and got in I would be happy too. Also, some teacher graduated from College or something but I don't care because she's mean and I don't like her. So I started saying stuff like, "Your so bad, and I hate you!!!" but the only person who heard me say it was my friend sitting next to me and he just started laughing over all of the clapping.

After ELA was Math and I was just listening to my teacher as he was lecturing the class about kids who were still talking. He said that as of right now only about 7 or 8 of the class would pass the PARCC which surprised me because I assumed we still hadn't even passed the first half of the book. Anyways, I do appreciate the way that he was putting heart and feelings through his speech. Although, the way he was yelling and slamming the desk wasn't exactly pleasuring.
