Happy Valentines Day to everyone who is reading this post which is probably just me checking for spelling mistakes or my dad. I remember when I used to get like 10 views on every post because I would talk about things that actually matter like information on Dinosaurs and about famous people. I remember in 4th grade I had 400 views on my Blog and I was so happy that that many people read at least one of my posts. But now I have about 3,395 views on my blog even though I haven't been writing about interesting things. My highest views in a single day is about 200 because I wrote about a book which I think was a Wrinkle of Time, and at the time the movie was just coming out so of course people were going to search it up.

I am just happy that I was able to accomplish such a feat even though it isn't exactly that amazing. This month I have about 41 people who have read my post although about 35 of those are just my father making sure that I wrote for the day since I have to write 5 paragraphs everyday. I remember when there was this period where I would write 4 paragraphs everyday and my dad was okay with it. I'm deciding that I am going to do that for today's post and just have those paragraphs be much thicker than my posts with 5 paragraphs.

Valentines Day wasn't exactly the best because I didn't really have someone to give a gift to. There are 2 girls who like me but I don't like them so I try to ignore them but sometimes it's just not possible and things will get awkward, especially today. One of the girls gave me 3 photo cards with BTS's pictures on them since the both of us like BTS a lot and I really appreciated. I am going to give my sister one of them and then put the other 2 on my Chromebook and behind my phone case as a sort of reminder about how BTS changed my life because of their powerful music and great personalities.

First period my teacher gave everyone gifts and my ELA teacher had candies which she gave to everyone. My Spanish teacher did the same thing and both of those candies combined I gave to my friend because he loves them and I don't want my sister to eat too many sweets so I didn't give it to her. We were talking about monologues in ELA class and I decided to do Jesse Owens because he is my favorite African American start, I watched the movie and it really is just empowering. He was the fastest man during his time and he set multiple records, as well as won 4 gold medals it he 1936 olympics at Berlin. This was held in a time where Nazi supremacy was definitely a thing and Adolf Hitler wanted to prove that Germany had the best athletes out there. Obviously this idea backfired since U.S.A won everything but the movie also talks about stuff like racism and how Jesse Owens paved the way for other African American athletes to stand their ground and set records as well.
