Today I just finished the last of my EOT's for term two and to be honest I did pretty good on Social Studies. My social Studies grade the last time that I saw it was a 76 so this 100 on my EOT should definitely bring it up, I can't be failing social Studies like that. Not when my old Social Studies teacher is literally telling me that it's like one of the more easier classes and that he was disappointed in me. Okay, that's not true. It was a science teacher, and although he didn't say he was disappointed he said that although those subjects were definitely the more easy ones.
I already know that I am not going to get Honor roll and my Math grade s probably going to be a 60 again, but I don't like Math in the first place and my parents all know that I struggle in that category. I think that my ELA grade will be around an 84 or above because I don't know how good I did on my English EOT exam. The writing portion was definitely not my best work because it was just so annoying with all the different formats we had to do. Plus, the fire drill made me rally scare and terrified so I submitted my test early.
My Social Studies teacher has been saying lately that if you don't get a 100 on the EOT then your basically a failure because they had been given two to three weeks studying for the exam. When I first heard this I felt like I was definitely screwed but last minute before the test my friend let me look at the study guide where all the answers to the questions we were supposed to study were and I memorized all of the answer choices.
It had nothing to do with me knowing what the question actually said or asked. Instead it was more like, "1. is c,d,f and 2, is a". I literally memorized either the letter of the answer choices or a specific word for the correct answer. I got a 100 because my friend got my paper after the test was over and graded it for me since we were supposed to grade the papers in the first place.
Science was kind of a struggle because the multiple choice was hard but the drawing dot diagrams and ionic bonds were no problem and if I get like an 80 or 70 it will only bring my grade down by like 10 to 5 points, and right now I have a 100 in Science soo yeah. After the tests my teacher told us to go to ELA class and the teacher who was substituting for my regular English teacher let us watch a movie and play games on our computer since it was the end of the day (half day) and we just finished all of the EOT's.
