The Snowy Day

A Snow day

One day there was a kid named Dave. Dave liked to play in the snow or have hot co co. Today was the perfect day for that. It was winter and snow was pouring down from the sky. He decided to play outside with all of his friends in the snow but he only had one glove and thought should I really go  out. Dave thought about all the bad things that could happen but decided not to worry and went out He had a snowball fight with his friends and of course his team won. From that  point on he thought he was the snowball champion but of course other people could beat him. Like for example, a professional athlete.

 He also had fun by playing tag in the snow. What made that fun was that it would be hard to walk on the snow and the everyone could hide from the tagger. It was sort of a challenge. Dave  liked challenges. The tagger was Andrew one of Dave's friends and the other players were Rocky, Mike, and Christopher. Andrew gave them 10 seconds to run away from him.  Dave started digging a gigantic hole in the snow like an igloo and hid in there. Then he covered the hole with snow. Now Andrew couldn't find him. 

Christopher simply ran as fast as he could through the snow and got caught 5 seconds after Andrew was don't counting.Mike and Rocky both slumped down the snow and covered themselves with it so Andrew wouldn't suspect anything was there. The bad thing was that due to the snow the kids didn't know who was it or not. Mostly because they covered themselves up. 

After an hour Dave, Rocky, and Mike got tired of Christopher not finding them and decided to go home. Everyone had a long fun day but as we aways say. Time goes by when your having fun. Dave went back to his house and decided to drink hot co co. He remembered the time when he bought tho co co from his school at the fundraiser. He wouldn't be having school that day due to the snow blocking the buses.

 Dave read his social studies textbook and discovered lots of facts and things that gave him curiosity. Like how did people know what do to if they could even talk back then when the human race just started.Dave asked his mom and she said that he was a mystery to be discovered. Son he realized it was just pure instinct and later on they made the English language. 

Dave missed his dad. He was on a trip to study as new animal species and would come back until next year. He wondered all the things his dad would say if he was still in the house This made him think of a poem....

My Father

Why father must you leave so soon,

We haven't even talked for a while,

So could you please come back would do,

I just might dial,

You are the man,

That protected me,

And now your gone for a whole year,

Oh can you please come back,

Just for a few more days,

We miss you so much,

And we pray you will be okay,

We love you like a diamond,

That gleamed like the shining sun,

So won't you please come back home please?
