One of the best days ever in my school, or in every school. Field day is a day in school that devotes its whole day into physical fitness. There are sometimes competitions and other times its for fun. I didn't think too much of it though because tomorrow is the last day of school and I am super excited. We're having a party dedicated to all the students (including me) and I am ready to dance. I guess this is a way to remember all the fun times we had at the school. I wore my field day T-Shirt and pants and am ready to go!
As I got to school and into breakfast my friend Ethan called me. We sat together and talked about Jordan's and today. He forgot it was Field day and didn't get his T-shirt. Luckily he could still participate. He wore his gym shirt instead. Another person in my class who wore the gym shirt but knew it was Field day is Lyric and he was on my team so I needed him. After talking to Ethan I thrower my stuff and used the bathroom. Afterward I headed to class.
When I got to class people were all over the place. They were taking down posters and paper from the walls. Ordering books by z-level and make the desks into a u-shape. I couldn't believe. The thing is I came at the time when most of them were finishing up with what they were doing. It was 15 minutes for me and I read a gaming magazine. There were too many desks for a real U so she put some desks in the middle so people didn't have to stand up or share a seat the whole day (5 hours more).
We all lined up at the door of the classroom and filed out to the football/soccer field near the school. The first event we did was the egg and spoon race. For some reason I am very good at this event. I dominated everyone so easily. My team was half a lap ahead of them because of me. The first time I went though Francis (classmate) called my name and I dropped the egg. I still beat everyone else and gained good reputation from my teacher for that.
Soon after we went to the basketball court to do the sponge and water race. You have to grab the sponge and run all the way to the mini pool of water. After that you grab as much water as you can into the sponge and run back, thats when you fill up the bucket with as much water as you can squeeze out of the sponge and pass it on until you fill the amount needed. My team was the 3rd one to win. The only reason the other team won was because they got to use a smaller bucket (other class broke the original one).
Afterward all the events were pretty much the same. There were 2 water breaks and one time where we got to go on the playground. We also had to go through an obstacle course and a tug of war. There was one event I can't explain because I had a water break that time. We had a fifty yard dash and a soccer practice. Overall I think my class did good. When everything was finished we watched Jurassic Park 1 and went home!
