Once the bus dropped me off of to school I walked inside and headed for my class on the second floor. When I got in my teacher was talking to a student so I quietly went to my desk so I would cause a scene. The breakfast was cheerios, crackers, orange juice, an apple, and carton of white milk. All I had was the cheerios and carton of milk since I wasn't hungry. At 8:55 I efficiently threw away my trash and got in line for Social Studies. For Social Studies I read a few pages on my textbook about the pilgrims and Thanksgiving. It wasn't a very "fun" class but also not boring because my teacher added a few jokes along the way to make it funny. My next class was Science and I walked in a line with my homeroom inside.
For Science class my teacher wanted my class to continue working on the outline for about 30 minutes. Once we finished the outline each kid got a chrome book, our teacher explained that he wanted us to log into "Brainpop.com" just to make sure we remember our login. I forgot my password but thankfully they had a link where you could make a new password. I was kind of worried that I would need an email but fortunately for me, all you needed to do was answer a series of questions that you got from when you made the account. I'm going to explain what Brainpop.com is for you because you may not know. Brainpop is a website that has videos and quizzes on all subjects. Science, Math, History, Grammer, its really great!
After Science I had lunch and didn't eat much of that because it was microwaved pasta (bad). The only thing I had was a carton of white milk to drink, then started talking to a few of my friends. By the time Lunch ended I was already walking upstairs to my class. When I walked in everyone was getting ready for Technology. I didn't want to bring my book pack and didn't have to but it didn't fit my locker so I had to carry it with me. Immediately, I grabbed a headset from the basket so that I could listen to music while doing the assignment. My technology teacher told the class to type the link on the board and click enter. Turned out it was about the google prize, where they let kids nationwide make their own google logo and submit it to google themselves.
Now i'll talk about google news. One story on the news talked about the moon and reasons why people want to go there. Now I know that a lot of you may not know this but NASA has made a contest for people to try and find the cheapest or most inexpensive way to go to the moon. So that already means that many companies and countries wish to go to the moon. Now it's time to let you in on the reasons why. First, "A vision for innovation", that means that countries and companies wish to expand and the moon is one way to do that. Now the onyl problem is how? Second, "Economic and Geopolitical advantages". Woudn't it be better for peace and resources for Earth? If countries work together to make a spacecraft for reaching the moon it would increase relatioships and put them at peace so there would be no disputes or wars.
When I say resources I literally mean resources. There is one resource on the moon called, "Helium-3" and it is like a powerhouse or fuel. Something that can be almost unlimited on the moon and is a way to continue manufactoring without pollution. That's right, helium-3 is nonpolluting so it wouldnt cause any more damage to our atmosphere. Third, "Easy Target", I don't really know what it means but I figured that it must have something to do with bring stuff back from the moon to Earth (samples) so that scientists can experiment with it and find new things that can help Earth. Fourth, "New Discoveries", we would be able to know more about the moon and see if the planet is habitable. Lastly, "We Learn About Earth". From reaching the moon we could learn more about the Earth's origin and how it came to be. Anyway, that is it for today.
