Usually, whenever I write about "The Trials of Apollo" I make it seem like a lot. But in reality, its only one or two events. What I do is expand those events into 2 or 3 paragraphs. However, today I don't think I'm going to finish 4 paragraphs just on what I've read. I've decided on making one of the paragraphs about today. That way it will most definitely meet the requirements. Anyway, let's start with "The Trials of Apollo". A few minutes after Apollo and Meg have set off on their journey Apollo gasps at the sight of a geyser (a type of hot spring that shoots out a burst of hot steaming water). Apparently, there is a type of gods called "Geyser Gods". They make sanctuaries and help refugees or lost people find their way. With that knowledge, Apollo and Meg walked over to a set of wooden doors and went through.
A blast of heat hit the two adventurers as they were greeted by one of the gods. His name was "Pete" (I've never heard of a god with such a simple name). Anyways, Pete provides very little information and Apollo and Meg continue to barge him with questions. Suddenly, 3 giant ants jump from the bushes and get dangerously close to Apollo. They are called, "Myermeke" and are 100 times larger than a normal ant. They can carry humans, cars, and even trucks with enough of them. Apollo plays a song that surprisingly paralyzes the "Myermeke". Unfortunately, he forgets about Meg and she is taken by the human size ants to their home. Apollo is ashamed for only caring about himself when his partner was in need. That is why he makes an oath to save Meg from the monstrous insects.
Before he can do that, Apollo passes out and is later treated by the demi-gods at "Camp Half-Blood". He would stay longer and heal fully but because of his oath Apollo ran back into the forest and was able to locate the nest of the "Myermeke". From there, he beautifully sings a song about all his defeats and sorrows. The song was enough to stop most of the monsters from attacking him. With a bow in hand, Apollo gradually takes out the insects and enters the nest. While searching for Meg he passes through a pile of shiny objects that were probably stolen by the "Myermekes". They have a thing for any shiny object and will take it by force if necessary. That was when he smelled something, the inside of the nest (underground tunnels) was filled with a disgusting smell.
One that reeked of rotting animals, after a bit of searching for the source of the smell he finds Meg crying. She is in some sort of green goop that looks to be hurting her. The only reason Meg hasn't died is that she managed to keep her head out of the goop. Unfortunately, her face was full of tears. Apollo spotted a pouch lying in the center of the room that contained magical seeds. He remembered one of the demi-gods had given it to him in case of emergencies. With uncertainty, Apollo threw the seeds at the goop which made some parts of it disappear. Now Meg was able to breath more calmly and thrash her way out of the slimy liquid. The only hard part now was to escape the nest, most likely because the only entrance out was covered with angry "Myermekes".

If I had written everything I read before starting this post it would have been only three paragraphs. However, I decided to continue reading a few more pages and get some juicy details out of the text. You can thank me for that, now let's get on with the news! Do you remember yesterday's post with North Korea wanting to build a better relationship with their southern border? Well, if you did then keep on reading! South Korean president Moon Jae has welcomed Kim Jong Un to the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang. The South Korean leader has always wanted better relations with their northern side so he gladly said yes. However, he must ask the government department of Korean relations and other people before making sure they are allowed. So this was what Kim Jong Un meant when he said he would like to send some delegations to South Korea! Well that is good for both countries!
