Before I start talking about school I want to mention something very serious. My father almost passed away today (I'm pretty sure) and thought of it just freaks me out. I mean, he's my dad and if he dies when I'm still 13 it really makes me worry. He's already been through 1 or two heart attacks and today the man almost fell down just like when we were jogging to Lincoln Park. The one thing I can do now is hope that he gets better with the new medicine and starts keeping a better check on himself. Anyway. let's move on to the first period at school. It was Social Studies and I expected us to keep on talking about Wakanda and other stuff. Remember, Wakanda is a fictional place from the movie "Black Panther". It was really funny that people started searching up "Wakanda" on the hotel sites after seeing the movie.
I told my teacher all about the "present" events that occurred yesterday and the day before that. First, a shooter who killed about 4 people at a waffle house, the shooter was naked waist down and just killing people from all directions. Thankfully, a bystander was able to grab him and detain the murdered long enough for the police to arrive. Afterwards, another incident at a waffle house that could've been linked to racism. Two white police officers arrested a woman just because she was waiting for the manager of the store to come. Apparently, there was a waitress that disrespected her or something. Anyway, it's just mindboggling that the police wouldn't just ask her to silently leave the place. Instead, the bring her to the grounds where she's almost naked.
And of course, you already know about the Toronto incident where the man apparently killed 9 people and injured 16. When I brought up that subject my teacher said the driver accidentally killed the civilians and wasn't paying attention. However, if you clearly look at the post it said that the man "deliberately" ran over the people. That's why when he got out of the car the killer started saying "Shoot Me!", because he knew he'd already get killed on death row. What surprised me the most was when it said this was one of the largest mass killings in America! I thought that the highest would probably be at least 400 to 500 but according to the story, 9 is close to the highest.
Now it's to talk about P.E, I was really excited to get into P.E because my teacher said we'd play a new game. However, it was actually mat ball. And in case you haven't noticed, I hate Matball. It's basically kickball, but ... Wait a minute... Matball is just kickball! There are actually no differences! You kick the ball and then try to get a home run! I remember this one time when I was about 8 years old. There was this Tibetan girl named, "Tsering' that I would play with on the streets. At the time when I was 8, she was probably 14. The girl carried me over the park gate when it was closed and then the rest of her friends went. And let me tell you, that gate was about 15 feet high so I got really scared.
Google News
Once everyone was inside the park we played kickball, well I wanted to just play on my Nintendo but the girl said I should play with them. She was really nice and now working. I even saw her at Newport Mall with her boyfriend about 3 months ago. She still remembers me and I remember her too. So there was this post I read that talked about a man who was going to commit suicide. He was trying to jump over the bridge to kill himself but the police called a bunch of trucks to go below the bridge. That way they could break his fall whenever it jumped. Thankfully, the man came to his senses and actually relaxed. The post ended talking about if you have feelings to suicide you should called the "Suicide Prevention Association". And if anyone who's reading this has this problem feel free to call and get your problems sorted out. Anyway, that's it for today's post.
