This post is going to be about this new game that I have been playing for quite as while now and then what I did yesterday with my father. So this new game that I have been playing definitely isn't new in itself. It's been around for more than 15 years and you might think just how a game that's been out for that long is still popular. Believe me, I don't know either, but the point is I am definitely starting to enjoy it and this is what I think about the game. So CSGO stands for (counter strike global offensive).
Basically, it puts you in different scenarios where there are two teams. The terrorists and the counter-terrorists, these two teams are either supposed to just kill each other until a certain time limit, have to rescue a hostage (or for the terrorists make sure the counter-terrorists die), and finally defuse a bomb (that the terrorists have placed and the counter terrorists need to stop before it kills everyone. I heard about this game maybe two years ago but never got the chance to play it because it cost money, and at the time I was only ever playing video games on my playstation.
But there was a major update that came like two weeks ago in the game where Valve (company) decided to make the game free, and this in turn made it so that the game's player base soared sky high. But unfortunately, at the same time this in turn invited a ton of hackers who were able to shoot through walls and have aimbot. Valve as this feature called prime that means you get to play with other prime members and these people definitely don't hack since there is this trust policy going around that means they have to play a certain amount of games or whatever.
However, I am not able to do this and in turn will be cursed for the rest of my life. Just kidding, you can unlock prime for free but you need to play until you reach level 21 and for people who just want to see how the games like this will not be a god approach. The reason I actually adore this game is because it's first person, it's not super happy and over the top (like Fortnite), and it has that serious slash war type of feel. I just love games like these wear they take place in locations that look totally real and they give off a serious vibe. Fortnite, is just fun, fun, and more fun.
Sometimes I just get really pissed at the game too. I hate the Battle Royale feature since there are literally 100 players around the whole map and the building aspect pisses me off because it doesn't take skill after an hour of practicing. So a game like CSGO that revolves solely on aim and game sense while still giving off that war type of feeling is really cool and I heavily enjoy it. I know I said I was going to talk about my day yesterday but I feel like I always do stuff like that so I won't.
